Hi, I've been using your free MT4 trade shell to evaluate whether to buy the paid version. I'm happy with some aspects of the EA but I find on all but one brokers MT4 platforms that I can't adjust the SL and TP levels once I have opened the trade. The levels are not able to be dragged. I have even looked to ensure under Tools > Options > Charts that "use Alt key to drag trade levels" is not ticked. I also find on the only MT4 platform where I CAN adjust SL and TP levels, I can only adjust these levels once I click on the chart and expose the standard MT4 SL/TP lines. If the Trade shell TP/SL lines are showing and I try to drag these lines, they will move, but dont actually change the TP/SL values. The standard MT4 SL/TP lines underneath still remain in the same position, and the Trade Shell SL/TP lines then disappear once I click on the chart again, and nothing has been changed. I have to then click on the chart which removes the trade Shell SL/TP, exposing the MT4 standard TP/Sl lines and I can drag them then. On my other MT4 platforms from other brokers I cannot even make a change that way. The SL/TP values remain locked. I also cannot adjust them in the MT4 Terminal display (Ctrl + T). Can you please give me some guidance?

Can somebody explain to me what's the "Breakeven Safe mode?" And what's the Levels Modification "By Header" or "By Level?" Also, for some reasons I can't modify the First Profit Target, the line won't budge.

I sold two orders, but it turns out that I can't move manually neither of the profit targets nor the stop loss. In my previous comment at least I could move the stop loss and one of the profit targets. Also, I tried to cancel my 2nd profit target, but it does not cancel it. What's happening, does anybody know?

Okay, one part of it is solved. When I changed "take profit mode" to "real," I could change the Stop Loss and the 2nd Profit Target, but not the 1st Profit Target, like in my first comment. I still can't cancel the 2nd Profit Target.

I think "By Header" means you can drag the TP or SL levels on the chart by grabbing their respective headers. I do find it hit or miss as to when it works, however. Only tested it in the Strategy Tester so far.

just noticed in my trading panel, when I set OCO and I want to remove it, I can't. clicking on SET OCO doesn't change to remove.

so my question is how to remove the OCO?

Hi Denis,


I have the MT4 version working fine when I placed a sell order, when it was in profit, I move the stop loss 10 pip above the current price, when the price move to the stop loss the stop loss order did not close, the price just push the stop loss value up and up.

    It is working very well. 

    In my opinion It would be great to add a trail stop option too , but this is a great ea to managing you’re trade.

    Firstly, good job with this tool. It's almost perferct for my strategy, but it is missing something to be working 100% right. 
    Can somebody tell me, why sometimes the lotes which Trade Shell calculate doesn't match with the size i get in the data of the order of the trade in the terminal?

    Suggestions for improving the tool: 

    • Create a new option for modifying levels: By harder and levels.
    • Create an option so that the trade shell does not disappear from the chart whenever we click anywhere other than the tool.
    • Display the trade ratio, for example next to the number of lots and the number of SL and TP pips, always visible in the Trade Shell.


    And again, thanks for the work. It is amazing how it is now.

    Been using Trade Shell for a while. Got a suggestion to the developer. Perhaps have an option to add certain pips to the BE since need to factor the commission fee for the trade. Currently the BE goes to the entry price. This would at least ensure the trade is not a loss if the SL/BE is hit.
