MT5 EA Enhancement – Add Global Profit/Loss Control & Timed Reset Logic to Shankar EA

MT5 (MQL5) developer to enhance an existing Expert Advisor (Shankar EA) by adding account-level risk control and time-based reset functionality.

Scope of Work

1. Global Profit & Loss Limit

   • Add a global profit target (account-wide).

   • Add a global maximum loss limit (account-wide).

   • When either condition is met:

     • Close all open positions and pending orders related to the EA.

     • Stop further trading activity until reset conditions are met.

   • Limits must be input-configurable from EA parameters.

2. X-Minute Reset Interval

   • Add a configurable time-based reset interval (X minutes).

   • At each interval:

     • Reset internal EA counters, flags, and trading state.

     • Allow trading to resume if previously stopped due to profit/loss limits.

   • Reset logic must be robust across ticks and low-volatility periods (timer-based preferred).

3. Stability & Safety

   • Ensure no duplicate resets occur.

   • Ensure logic works correctly after:

     • Terminal restart

     • Chart reload

     • Temporary disconnections

Requirements

• Strong experience with MQL5 / MT5 Expert Advisors

• Proper handling of account equity, balance, floating P/L

• Clean, well-structured, and maintainable code

• No use of external files unless explicitly approved
