Customizable Forex Trading Bot for MetaTrader 4 & 5


Project Overview

  • I am a professional zone‑to‑zone trader seeking an experienced developer to build a fully customizable forex trading bot (Expert Advisor) that operates on both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The bot must execute trades according to detailed instructions that I will provide once an ambitious and suitable applicant is selected. It should allow easy editing so that strategies can be refined over time. After development, we will collaborate to test the bot’s performance on both platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a robust, editable trading bot compatible with MT4 and MT5.
  • Implement specific entry/exit rules, risk management parameters and zone‑to‑zone trading logic based on my instructions.
  • Ensure the code is modular, well‑documented and easy to modify.
  • Perform backtesting and forward testing; use MetaTrader’s Strategy Tester to optimise and assess the bot under different market conditions.
  • Support installation on local and VPS environments if needed.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Education- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Programming Expertise – Mastery of the MetaQuotes Languages (MQL4 and MQL5) is essential. These languages, which resemble C, are used to build custom EAs and indicators. Strong experience in coding, debugging and optimising Expert Advisors in MetaEditor is required.

  • Backtesting & Strategy Development – Experience with MetaTrader’s Strategy Tester and other backtesting tools to evaluate and refine trading strategies is necessary. Candidates should be comfortable using historical data to optimise performance.
Communication & Collaboration – Ability to clearly communicate progress and incorporate feedback; willingness to work closely with me to fine‑tune the bot’s behaviour.

payment and compensation

  • Compensation ranges from $50 to $200, with the final payment based on the bot’s win rate and overall performance during our testing phase. Details on the performance‑based evaluation will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.

    FINAL REMARKS

    The applicants must have the competency to code a sophisticated, fully customizable Forex trading bot capable of following detailed and evolving trading instructions.
