Spezifikation

Does metatrader have the ability to be integrated with other cloud based software platforms? Maybe via webhooks?

I am interested in
1.) taking data (such as symbol specification) out of Metatrader platform and sending it to another application like google excel sheet. 
2.) sending information from the outside to Metatrader such as google excel sheet, so it can utilize outside signals for trades. Every 30 mins I enter an order in the Excel sheet and it automatically places the order in the MQL.
