MT4 Testing not running on 5M and only Buy Trades are bieng tested

Hi All,


I am backtesting an EA in MT4. 


Loaded history data for XAUUSD from Axiory Website


Now when i backtest the EA I select the option of 5m, however the testing is still bieng done on M1

Also the EA is testing only on buy trades, while both buy and sell options are active. 


In live trading the EA is doing well on buy and sell both....but back testing is only doing buy while there is no option to change it in the settings either.

Please help

1- how to test on M5 instead of M1 that the system is forcing it

2- why only buy testing happening

  2. Du bist neu - warum MT4, statt den schnelleren MT5?
  3. Was sind das denn für Kurse? So weit ich mich erinnere - ist schon länger her - müssen die Daten für jeden Zeitrahmen separat vorliegen.
  4. Schau mal in den Spezifikationen nach - der Broker kann so etwas ein-/ausschalten
  5. Lass den EA im visuellen Modus handeln und druck im Kommentar die Variablen aus, die zu Kauf oder Verkauf führen.
