Order Blocks and Fair Value Gaps marks the two most-used Smart Money zones on your chart automatically, so you can see at a glance where price may react.
What it draws
- Bullish and bearish order blocks: the last opposite candle before a strong impulse candle (body larger than a set multiple of ATR) that closes beyond that candle's range.
- Bullish and bearish fair value gaps (FVG): the three-candle imbalance, the gap between the first and third candle, with a minimum size in ATR to filter noise.
- Every zone extends to the right until price returns into it (mitigated). Mitigated zones stop extending, or can be hidden.
- Optional popup and push alerts when price enters an active zone.
Inputs
- Bars to scan, ATR period
- Impulse size for order blocks (x ATR) and minimum FVG size (x ATR)
- Show or hide order blocks / FVGs, hide mitigated zones, maximum zones of each type
- Colors for each zone type, labels on or off
- Popup alert and push notification
Works on any symbol and timeframe: forex, gold, indices and crypto. Zones are calculated from closed candles only, so they do not repaint. The indicator only draws objects and never trades.
Tip: higher timeframe zones (H1, H4) are usually more meaningful than M1 zones. Use the zones as areas of interest together with your own entry rules.
