That’s a line in the code I forgot to delete.
I will change that and update to a newer version before after tomorrow.

Thank you so much for the change! I've found an error with the risk % setting. It tries to open 1.01 as a minimum regardless of the balance. I have been running this test on GOLD (XAU/USD) Have you run any optimizations for GOLD?

I noticed it too, that’s due to the formula I used.

Will update today as well (now), and publish again!

Feel free to leave a review if you want to, helps out a lot! 

EDIT: in the meantime, you can set the risk percentage to 0 and instead use fixed lots.

Hi Zaky,

Apologies for all the questions, I've noticed in testing that the "every tick based on real ticks" is very different to "every tick" tests that you use. I'm concerned that the every tick based on real ticks is more accurate. Is that correct?

Hello!

It depends on:
- The quality of your historical data.
- Does it consider spread, commission, and swap?

Depending on your broker, the results based on real ticks are more or less realistic. 

EDIT: I personally suggest using it in demo first, to see how it goes. I also suggest using an Islamic broker to not have any swap, and looking for the smallest commission possible. It is preferable to turn on the EA only during news events or high volatility, and turn it off during horizontal markets.

Upon testing/backtesting, it's still making orders at 1.01 and I still can't test anywhere below 2000 minimum account.

I have exactly the same issue. Balance needs to be above 2000, and only trades with volume 1.01 lot are executed in BT.

If the parameters lots/risk percentage would work, it would be a premium EA
