Rosaline is an EA that operates with a refinement of a simple strategy based on RSI + bollinger bands + ATR mainly on Gold, EU and OJ.

The EA is designed with manually settable 'equity protect' that goes to protect capital from drawdowns.

What does this mean?

If you are thinking of using it to pass a challenge you can do so because thanks to this 'feature' you are covered by the classic daily DD rule.

Example: on a 100k account you can set a hedge at -4%. If EA reaches that floating loss it shuts everything down and restarts the next day.

-Strategic approaches:

You can only trade with RSI or BB or both for double confirmation

What about the stop loss?

It can be fixed or open with multiple fixed or martingale positions (de gustibus)

And the take profit?

Again, it can be fixed for more swing activity on medium/high timeframes or wide and with tight lockprofit and trail stops for scalping

How best to use it?

It is not a 'copy and paste' EA. After downloading it you have to perform a "slow" optimisation of the last quarter on the instrument you want to use "XAU, EU or GU". Back and forward test to find the best settings. You can backtest every parameter. The ideal is to test everything from pip steps to RSI. 3 months backtest with 1/3 forward.

You can stick to a single instrument such as gold or spread it over 3 or 4 instruments splitting the max risk of the equity protect

Uso questa EA da un po'. La cosa bella di questa EA è che permette a chiunque di impostarne i parametri, permettendoti di esporsi a una determinata percentuale di rischio (statistica) in base alle tue preferenze. Inoltre Simone è sempre disponibile a dare una mano. Ha un canale youtube e uno telegram tramite i quali da spiegazioni e supporto. Su youtube si chiama SimoFx. Su telegram ha un canale pubblico raggiungibile tramite il link che lascia sotto ogni suo video. Per quanto mi riguarda simo è un grande. Chiunque abbia un minimo di voglia di imparare, ha modo di impostare questo bot per farlo operare in qualsiasi modo uno voglia. Inutile dire che funziona. Grazie poi alle varie opzioni di noleggio e alla prova gratuita, chiunque ha modo di provare senza spenderci troppo. Poi boh, provate voi. Io alla fine sono solo un bravo figliolo che sta per fare il militare (cit XD)

I'm using this EA since sometime and I think that it works really well, is it possible to run a backtest modifiying few parameters and use the set file that works and reflet your expectations.
