Thanks so much for your amazing indicators. I really like this but it seems to lag a few candles behind for me. Is it meant to behave in that way and if so is there a means to set it to the current candle as you can do on your other excellent indicators?

Dear Rich,

Fractals can't be displayed on the current candle. It is plotted on the 2nd candle after the current candle. That's how it works. And it's standard in MT4.

Keep in mind that Fractals becomes definitive at the open of the 3rd candle after it.

That's a shame. I use IQ Option and the fractals will appear on the current candle. They sometimes repaint but on the 15 minutes and above they rarely do. Success rate is very high for making a trade for the next candle. An alert through MT4 would be a winner!!

In MT4 a fractals needs 2 candles each side to be validated.

I love this indicator.  I've just installed it (on Saturday when the markets are closed) and can see a bunch of red alerts.  I'm assuming that when a fractal appears, these will turn green.  If that is correct, then is it possible to have the red alerts not showing/black until they do appear?  Or could you release a version that does, I'm assuming it would only need an external variable adding.

Dear Mark,

If you are talking about the red icon shown in each box, that's not an alert but the alert icon showing if the alert feature is activated for each box. Red inactive, green active.

I do have alerts set up and it hadn't turned green but obviously have to wait until the market opens (as you've said). Personally, I'd prefer it if you could turn these icons off (or make them black) as your attention is drawn to them when there's a lot appearing on your screen.  I'm just looking at some of your other indicators now - great work!

Then On chart: select the bell icon (double click) then drag and drop it anywhere. At the very next incoming tick, it will retrieve its original position but with a different color signaling that it changed its status. Red to Green means it is now activated … Green to Red means that it is now deactivated. , 

There is no bell icon in the chart !!!!

I am using mt4

If you have no bell, that means your computer is missing a standard Windows Font.

Instead it is replaced by MT4 with a 'A' on the chart. Use the 'A' like if it was the bell icon. Same purpose.

Hello, this is a brilliant indicator. Is it possible you can put a toggle for just up fractals, or just down fractals? Would be very helpful :)

Or privately send the code so I can try and do it myself if you want.
