Only suggestion to improve performance.

Add possibility to filter divergence R/H with candle pattern: pin bar and engulfing with parameters setting like your indicator "candle pattern scanner".

In this way will be perfect. Divergence+candle pattern very strong signal usually over 60% profitable.

Hello Fabbry and thanks for your suggestion. It is definitely worth having a look at. This indicator was published yesterday so I will await more feedback and other suggestions for changes and wrap it all up in a package of changes later on.

Anyway, the built in RSI filter option will also help you to find the most strongest setups.

I also noticed that you rented the indicator 15 minutes before you wrote the message here. That is to short time for evaluation. Signals are coming as they occur. The indicator will look 1 or 2 bars back in time depending on your settings. In addition to that it was in the middle of lunchtime and therefore we cannot expect so many signals with RSI in overbought/oversold state.

Just purchased this indicator and I have a question. In the overview you stated 'only one oscillator can be selected'. Can I load an indicator on each of six different charts on the same account to have all six oscillators covered throughout the pairs and TF's?

Hi Dennis and thanks for buying the scanner. Technically speaking you could load 6 sessions of the indicator to the same chart. But there could be an issue with the panel. It will load also 6 panels. Initially on the same position on the chart. To be frank I have not tested such a scenario. Therefore I would recommend you to load the indicator on 6 separate charts. Advisable on emtpy charts (not full of other indicators and/or oscillators) which you are not working actively with. As you know a change of timeframe or symbol will reinitialize an indicator. And then you will loose for instance the past signals in the panel.

I have also made an expert advisor based on this indicator. I am testing it now and plan to release it here during the autumn. My backtests shows that that the best results comes with Stochastics, CCI or OsMA.

Yes, you would end up with basically the same regarding the divergence engine. But the Multi oscillator divergence is very lite compared with the scanner version. In addition to the possibility to have it only on one chart you have RSI, pinbar and engulfing filter options which makes it possible to filter out only the strongest setups. Moreover it has the possibility to wait for candle close for the alert to appear. It also has an interactive panel on the chart where you can see the last xx signals. You can even click on a signal in the panel and a new chart will open with the symbol and timeframe in question.

The codes which appears in the panel are described on the 4th screenshot which you can find in the bottom of the product Overview section. You can read all about it there. R = regular divergence and H = hidden divergence. 30 is the time frame, in this case M30.

as mentioned in the product description such type of multi time frame and multi symbol indicators are unfortunately not supported in the strategy tester in Metatrader 4. I am so sorry for this but there is no way to get around this. There is one way to test it though, with a limitation, and that is to put only one symbol in the Symbols parameter and enable only one time frame in the indicator.

The strategy tester does not support pop-up alerts on the screen but you will be able to see the alerts in the tester Journal.
