How it works

• Grid module — positions are added on price pullbacks within a ranging market, with a fixed step map and equity-based lot scaling.
• Hedge module — when floating loss of one side keeps growing, the EA opens an opposite protective position after a set distance, and manages it with its own take-profit / stop-loss rules.
• Trend module — in trending regimes it follows the trend with laddered entries, structure-based (BOS) exits and trailing stops.

Key features

• Fixed lot grid - no martingale, and here is the proof. Lot size follows your balance linearly ( lots = balance / DynLots_BalanceBase * DynLots_BaseLots , defaults 30,000 / 0.02), and every layer of the same grid uses the same lot size. There is no lot multiplication anywhere in the code. When equity drops, the EA does not add size - it widens the grid step (1.0x / 1.5x / 2.0x / 2.5x tiers of Str_EquityStepMap ), which makes later entries sparser, not heavier.
• Full-featured on-chart panel: account summary, exposure per module, one-click close.
• Optional email notification on hedge open/close (off by default — enable it after configuring SMTP in Tools → Options → Email).
• 95 input parameters, all exposed and documented.
• Three ready-to-load presets: Standard / Conservative / Aggressive.
• No DLL, no WebRequest, no external libraries, no licence key system — protection is handled by the Market activation mechanism.

Requirements

• Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold). Timeframe: H1. Attach it to a single XAUUSD H1 chart.
• MetaTrader 4 build 600 or higher. A hedging (per-order) account is the normal MT4 behaviour and is what this EA expects.
• Recommended minimum balance: 15,000 USD per 0.01 base lot. Lot sizing is dynamic ( lots = balance ÷ DynLots_BalanceBase × DynLots_BaseLots , defaults 30,000 / 0.02). Below roughly 15,000 USD the calculated lot drops below your broker's minimum lot, so the EA falls back to the broker minimum and the effective leverage becomes higher than in our backtests. We suggest an absolute floor of 5,000 USD; below that, reduce the grid layer count or widen the grid step first.
• Low-spread broker recommended; VPS strongly recommended. Auto-trading must be enabled in the terminal.

Risk warning (please read before buying)

• This is an automated trading tool, not an investment product. No profit is promised and no principal safety is guaranteed.
• Grid/hedging strategies carry deep drawdown risk. In our own backtests on XAUUSD H1: over a 31-month window with the default parameters the maximum drawdown reached −54.88% (equity fell to 65.0% of the initial balance); with the trend module switched off, a 21-month window reached −62.65% (equity fell to 48.4%).
• Past backtest results do not limit future risk. Two known weak spots, stated plainly: (1) three consecutive hedge losses trigger a cooldown, during which no new automatic hedge is opened - the longest observed gap was 4 hours 22 minutes; (2) our three deepest drawdowns all happened inside windows that the state machine had labelled as ranging while price was in fact moving 5-11% in one direction. One-way slow trends are the structural weakness of this strategy class.
• Leverage can amplify losses; in the worst case the whole deposit can be lost. Use only funds you can afford to lose.
