Pine Script Developer for CRSI Strategy Implementation and Backtesting

Project Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pine Script developer to implement and backtest a Connors RSI (CRSI) strategy along with two profit-taking methods on TradingView. The project includes developing and testing these strategies, followed by a basic comparative analysis. This is a short-term project within a larger initiative, with the potential for future collaboration based on performance.

Scope of Work:

1. Implement Connors RSI (CRSI) Logic

• CRSI Formula Development: Implement the three core components of CRSI (RSI, Updown Length, and Rate of Change).
• Signal Logic Creation: Set up buy and sell signals (Buy when CRSI >70; Sell when CRSI <30).
• Backtesting: Run initial backtesting to ensure proper functionality of the strategy.

2. Implement Quick Profit Strategy

• Price Movement Tracking: Implement logic to monitor price movement after entry.
• Exit Condition: Create an exit rule when price moves up by 2 ticks (1/2 point).
• Testing: Ensure accurate execution of the exit condition.

3. Implement 1 Bar Profit/Loss Strategy

• Bar Holding Logic: Implement logic to hold positions for the duration of a single bar.
• Exit at Bar Close: Set up the exit condition at the end of the bar.
• Testing: Verify correct bar identification and exit timing.

4. Basic Comparative Analysis

• Data Collection: Gather basic performance metrics for both strategies.
• Report: Summarize findings and highlight key differences between the Quick Profit and 1 Bar strategies.

Deliverables:

• CRSI strategy with both profit methods implemented in Pine Script.
• Backtesting results for both strategies.
• A simple comparative analysis report.
