Hello, Can I use the default settings on eur/usd chart in a real cent account with 5000 cents equity or can I increase the starting lot to 0.05. Please advise.
Raakesh Dheer: Hello, Can I use the default settings on eur/usd chart in a real cent account with 5000 cents equity or can I increase the starting lot to 0.05. Please advise.
Hello!
Default settings and testing are presented as a example, but, yes, you can try to put EA on 5000 cents on default settings for an initial lot of 0.01, definitely not at 0.05. Also, please keep in mind that at the moment EURUSD pair may have increased volatility associated with the US elections, and therefore drawdown may be significantly higher.

Ali David Joseph Mathurin: what s new with the 1.2 version?
Hello!
MaxDD system has been added to limit trading when the maximum drawdown is reached.
Added the "ModeDD" parameter - selection of the close option by the maximum drawdown, can be disabled; Added the "MaxDD" parameter - the maximum drawdown in the deposit currency, after reaching which the orders are closed, while, depending on the choice of the "ModeDD" parameter, the EA will either continue to trade or stop trading.
There would be some very important functions to improve your EA
-The first would be "stop open new series" so that you can stop your EA after closing an old series
-The second would be to be able to activate only BUY or only SELL.
-The third would be to be able to select the hours in which your EA will be able to open new positions.
-The fourth instead would be a unique function never seen in any other EA: the possibility of opening positions only SELL or only BUY based on the price in which the pair is.
For example if EUR USD is in the area between 1.18 and up, your EA will only open SELL.
If EUR USD trades in the area between 1.12 and down, your EA will only open BUY
It is a good idea to attempt to counter strong trends.

Hello!
These three functions will be added in the next release, presumably next week or perhaps a little earlier.

Good job ;-)
The fourth function actually makes the advisor an manual assistant in trading, but the EA was originally conceived as a fully automatic trading system that works on the basis of optimization and testing, but I'll think about how this can be implemented in future versions.
Added the "ModeTrade" parameter - select the option for opening orders for each direction separately. Added the "NewOrdersBuy" parameter - enabling / disabling the opening of new orders in the BUY direction. Added the "NewOrdersSell" parameter - enabling / disabling the opening of new orders in the SELL direction. Added the "ModeTime" parameter - enabling / disabling the opening of new orders at the time specified in the "StartTime" and "EndTime" parameters.

Hello! Judging by the screenshot, you are using an account with netting positions for testing the MT5 Grid Machine. EA is a grid and needs an account with a hedging accounting system. You can read more about the hedging position accounting system at this link: https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/2299
Is it possible to limit the total number or volume of buy / sell orders ?
Sometime the total purchase became very high and fund requirements become very high!!!

Hello Ivan,
Can you explain a bit about
Does it mean in points or pips?
Also, how does this expert open the initial order in the grid?
Thanks a lot.
