DinexSpace ATR Trailing Stop Line

- 버전: 1.0
ATR Trailing Stop Line draws where a volatility-based trailing stop would sit. For a long position the line stays a fixed number of ATRs below the highest point reached. For a short position it stays above the lowest point. The line only moves in the position's favour and never moves back.
How it works
- ATR (Average True Range, Wilder's smoothing) measures the typical bar range. The line sits a chosen multiple of it (3 by default) away from price.
- On each bar the line is pulled up (long side) or down (short side) when price makes progress, and stays where it is otherwise.
- When price closes beyond the line (or trades through it, if you choose the wick rule), the line is hit and restarts. In Auto mode it restarts on the other side of price. In Long only or Short only mode it restarts on the same side.
- A one-bar gap marks each restart so old and new segments are not joined.
- Both lines are indicator buffers, so they appear in the Data Window. An EA of your own can read them with iCustom to manage its stops.
Inputs
- Position side (Auto, Long only, Short only), ATR length, ATR multiple, trail from highs/lows or closes, hit rule (close or wick).
- Colours and widths can be changed on the Colors tab.
Limits
- The line is a reference for managing an open position. It does not decide when to enter a trade.
- Values on the current bar can change until the bar closes.
- ATR describes past ranges only; gaps can jump past the line.
The indicator never places, changes or closes orders and gives no entry signals.
