Momentum Calculus Suite Pro (MCSP)
A calculus-based momentum and signal indicator for MetaTrader 5.
MCSP measures how fast price is moving (slope), how that speed is changing (acceleration) and how the curve is bending (curvature). It then combines that with higher-timeframe context, price location and candle structure to produce graded BUY/SELL signals on the main chart, and a slope-wave momentum panel in the window below.
One indicator. One file. Two views: clean signals on the price chart, momentum waves underneath.
What you see on your chart
Main chart
- BUY / SELL arrows with a grade label (A, B or C), a score and the setup type (PB or RV).
- Premium dashboard with a decision banner, BUY and SELL score bars, a slope gauge and a context table.
- Optional swing markers and optional wave-cross markers.
Sub-window: Slope Waves
- Blue line (FAST): short-term slope of price.
- Orange line (REG): regression slope, the smoother baseline.
- Silver dotted line (MACRO): long-term trend wave.
- Momentum histogram (FAST minus REG): the heart of the panel.
The momentum histogram: how to read it
The histogram shows whether short-term momentum is running above or below its own baseline.
- Green bars above the zero line: fast momentum is stronger than the baseline, the bullish side of momentum.
- Red bars below the zero line: fast momentum is weaker than the baseline, the bearish side of momentum.
- Shade tells you the phase:
- Bright green: positive and still expanding.
- Dark green: positive but fading.
- Bright red: negative and still deepening.
- Dark red: negative but recovering.
- Zero-line crossing = FAST/REG crossing. When the histogram crosses zero, the blue line crosses the orange line. This gives you a simple visual trigger to read together with the arrows.
- Level lines at -1 / 0 / +1 are adjustable and for visual reference only.
Many traders read the green/red phases like this: green above zero while the silver macro wave rises suggests momentum is aligned with the broader trend. A red phase that turns dark and starts to recover can warn that selling pressure is fading. Always confirm with the arrows and the dashboard.
How signals are generated
MCSP uses two focused setups instead of firing on every swing.
PB - Trend Pullback Resumption
A pullback is detected inside an established trend. The signal appears only when the slope turns back with the trend, the candle closes beyond the recent 2-bar extreme, and price is in a fair-value zone rather than stretched.
RV - Channel-Extreme Reversal
Price is statistically stretched away from its regression channel (z-score). The signal needs rejection evidence (rejection candle or swing structure) plus slope and curvature turning in the new direction.
Every signal passes through
- Higher-timeframe bias (auto-selected, uses completed HTF bars only)
- Macro-trend filter
- Efficiency-ratio regime filter (avoids choppy conditions for pullbacks)
- ATR-ratio filter (avoids dead and spike conditions)
- Candle exhaustion filter (skips oversized candles)
- Optional spread and session filters
- Cool-down and spacing rules (limits clusters and flip-flops)
Evidence score (0-100) with transparent weights
First derivative, regression agreement, acceleration and curvature, candle structure, swing structure, noise/volatility, higher-timeframe alignment, price location and macro slope. Signals are graded A / B / C by score. The score is an evidence indicator, not a probability.
Built for closed-candle logic
- Signals are generated only after a candle has closed.
- Once drawn, a signal is not moved or deleted by later price action.
- Higher-timeframe values come from the last completed HTF bar.
- Swing pivots are used only after their confirmation bars have formed.
- Alerts fire once per signal candle, with no alert on first attach.
Built-in history tracker
The dashboard shows statistics for the last resolved signals on your chart: wins, losses, timeouts, win rate and expectancy in R. It uses ATR-based stop and target distances (adjustable), with spread included. Use it to compare symbols and timeframes and to tune settings. It is in-sample history on your own chart, not a forecast of future results.
Dashboard
- Decision banner: BUY, SELL, WAIT, NO TRADE or SETUP READY.
- BUY and SELL score bars with your threshold marker.
- Slope gauge, acceleration, curvature, macro trend, HTF bias, price location (z-score), regime (ER and ATR ratio), market state.
- Last signal with grade, setup and age in bars.
- 4 themes (Navy Blue, Carbon Gold, Royal Purple, Light Clean), compact mode and full size scaling.
Smart presets
In Auto mode, MCSP adjusts its lookback periods, cool-down and higher-timeframe selection to the chart timeframe (M1 to D1 and above). Prefer full control? Switch to Manual and set every value yourself.
Alerts
Popup, sound, push notification and email. One alert per signal candle.

| Dashboard | Theme, compact mode, position, size |
| Tracker | Stop and target (x ATR), horizon, number of signals |

Recommended use
- Works on any symbol and timeframe. Popular choices: XAUUSD, major Forex pairs and indices, on M5 to H4.
- Let the higher-timeframe data load once after attaching the indicator.
- Use the dashboard score bars, the arrows and the wave panel together rather than any one alone.
- Test on a demo account and in the Strategy Tester before trading live.
- This is an indicator, not an Expert Advisor. It does not open or close trades.
Risk disclaimer
Trading leveraged products involves substantial risk of loss. MCSP is an analytical tool. It does not guarantee profit, and past or in-sample results do not indicate future performance. Always use proper risk management.
