🟢 Getting Started (5 quick steps)

1. Install the EA

   Download AIOTA Trading Journal from the MetaTrader 5 Market tab (Toolbox > Market > Purchased) and attach it to any chart.

2. Allow WebRequest (one-time setup)

   To sync trades to your online journal, MetaTrader must be allowed to contact the AIOTA server:

   - Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors.

   - Tick "Allow WebRequest for listed URL".

   - Click "+" and add this address: https://gfgyprmqjwaiiemsvlri.supabase.co

   - Click OK.

3. Create your free journal account

   Register for free on the AIOTA journal dashboard (the registration address is in the product comments). After registering you will receive two values: your AIOTA ID and your Journal Secret. They connect your EA to your personal dashboard.

4. Enter your AIOTA ID and Journal Secret in the EA

   On the chart, click the "Settings" button on the EA panel. In the General section, paste your AIOTA ID and your Journal Secret, then click "Save Settings".

5. Start trading

   Every position you open and close is now recorded automatically and appears in your dashboard: analytics, trade log with replay, AI Coach and action plans.

Notes:

- Steps 2-4 are one-time only. Your settings are remembered.

- Without step 2 the EA still works, but trades will not appear in your dashboard.

- Keep your Journal Secret private.

No. AIOTA Trading Journal is a journaling, risk-management, and coaching companion for manual trading — it never opens or closes a position without you.

Will it slow down my order execution?

No. Journaling happens in the background and never interferes with how fast your trades execute.

Does it work during backtesting in the Strategy Tester?

Yes, it runs cleanly in the Strategy Tester so you can validate your own manual strategies step by step.
