Fair Value Gaps (FVG) are areas of supply/demand imbalance around a price area due to rapid price movement caused by bullish or bearish pressure outweighing the market reaction. The areas are identified by a space or gap in-between 3 consecutive candles. These areas can serve as a good support / resistance zone for trend re-entry especially when combined with market structure, liquidity analysis and trend direction.

The fair value gap trader is a tool that helps traders catch trade entry signals around fair value gap zones. This indicator identifies fair value gaps on a chart and generates signals on the rejection or retracements around the identified zones.
