Prop Firm Compliance Mode (optional)

• Daily loss limit as a percentage of day-start equity, with a configurable reset hour to match your firm's trading day
• Maximum drawdown limit measured from either your starting balance or your peak equity, whichever your firm enforces
• Automatic flatten-and-halt on breach — trading resumes at the next daily reset, or after a deliberate manual clear for a maximum drawdown event
• Optional forced close-out ahead of the weekend with a configurable cutoff hour
• Limit state persists across restarts and VPS reboots, so a terminal restart can't accidentally reset your daily loss tracking

Recommended Use

TrendX is built for instruments that produce sustained directional moves — gold (XAUUSD), major indices, and trending FX pairs are sensible starting points. Because the signal timeframe is set independently of your chart, you can monitor on any period while the EA works from the timeframe you've configured.

If you're running a funded or prop firm account, enable Prop Firm Mode and set the daily loss, drawdown, and weekend rules to match your provider's requirements before going live. The specific entry logic, indicator configuration, and internal thresholds behind TrendX are proprietary and are not published. Every parameter that affects your risk — sizing, stop behaviour, targets, trailing, and all prop firm limits — is fully exposed and adjustable, and the EA can be backtested freely in the MT5 Strategy Tester on your own broker's data so you can evaluate its behaviour before committing real capital.
