Quantum Gold Morning Star EA
A low-frequency, closed-bar Expert Advisor designed and validated for XAUUSD on the Daily timeframe.
HOW IT WORKS
The EA evaluates completed D1 candles only. A valid setup requires a three-candle morning-star reversal while price is above the D1 SMA200. A new long position is considered on the first tradable tick after the next D1 bar begins.
POSITION MANAGEMENT
• Initial structural stop below the three-candle setup with an ATR buffer
• Optional breakeven step after the position reaches 1R
• Two-ATR trailing stop
• Maximum holding period of 30 D1 bars
• One managed position at a time

• 0.5% default configured risk per planned entry
• 15% drawdown entry halt
• Configurable spread cap
• Margin, broker stop-distance and freeze-level checks
• Minimum-lot over-risk protection

• No DLLs, WebRequest, external files or custom indicators
IMPORTANT SETUP
1. Attach the EA to XAUUSD D1.
2. Enable Algo Trading in MetaTrader 5.
3. Review all inputs and your broker's symbol specifications.
4. Set Enable new entries to true only when you are ready. It is false by default on a live chart.
5. Run a broker-specific Strategy Tester check before live use.
The Strategy Tester automatically enables entries for product validation. Existing positions with the matching magic number remain managed when new entries are disabled.

The published evidence supports XAUUSD D1 only. Other symbols and timeframes are not validated and are not recommended.
Historical tests are modeled results, not forecasts or guarantees. This is a low-frequency strategy, and the small number of historical trades increases uncertainty. Spreads, commissions, slippage, broker execution and future market behavior can materially change results. Trading can result in loss.

• 2021-01-01 to 2024-12-31, 1-minute OHLC: 25 trades; net +9.70%; profit factor 2.59; equity drawdown 3.32%
• 2025-01-01 to 2026-06-24, 1-minute OHLC: 11 trades; net +11.36%; profit factor 11.63; equity drawdown 2.23%
• 2025-01-01 to 2026-06-24, real ticks: 11 trades; net +11.36%; profit factor 11.63; equity drawdown 2.23%
