Hope you’re happy so far:) ofc trading should always be viewed from a long term perspective. There will be ups and down with any system. What matters matters is having a solid edge that plays out consistently over time.
I have purchased this bot in addition to the range breakout EA (before price went north) and as mentioned on that product I am looking to optimise setting for GMT. Server time is GMT+2.
I will be setting up on a personal small account (£500) and am excited to see how it goes.

Thanks again Steve! Yeah £500 account size will work fine. This EA is plug n play so not much you have to change in the settings if you trade on personal account. Just set the account size and desired risk level and it’s good to go :)

Thanks Jimmy. Will kick off with low and go from there :) I note you recommend medium for personal accounts but slow & steady wins the race ;-)

Yeah exactly. Medium is good for personal accounts. Up to you how much risk you want

Hello, I have a question regarding the Drawdown Protector in Prop Firm Gold EA 1.7.
When I set "Close All Trades At This Percent" to 4.8%, is the EA monitoring Equity or Balance?
I need to know whether the EA closes all positions immediately when the equity drawdown reaches 4.8%, or only after the trades are closed and the balance reflects a 4.8% loss.
Since prop firms such as FTMO enforce drawdown rules based on real-time equity, clarification is very important for safe usage.
Could you please confirm exactly which value the EA uses to trigger the safety close?
(Equity-based drawdown close vs. balance-based drawdown close)

Hi! the Drawdown Protector monitors *equity* in real time.
It compares the starting balance of the day to your current equity.
So yes, if the equity drops by 4.8% at any point during the day, the EA will immediately close all open positions to protect the account.
This is designed to comply with prop-firm rules like FTMO’s real-time equity drawdown limits.
krzys1973 #: Hi, for which Prop companies can I use this EA? I guess not all Prop companies accept EA? Thanks
Hi, Yeah there are many prop firm at the moment and they constantly change their rules so it's important to check their rules carefully. Most popular prop form used by the EA is FTMO.
One important thing is that the prop firms timezone has to be GMT +2/3. But most prop firms have that. You can read more here on the FAQ. https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/765211

The less weird rules they have the better.

Im mniej dziwne zasady, tym lepiej.
Hi Man, I've bought Prop Firm EA. Is there any different between this and Range Breakout EA?
Do you have user Manuel?

Hi! Yeah "The Prop Firm EA" uses multiple strategies inside the same EA. RangeBreakout is just Ione strategy, but it works for 3 markets.
Yeah sure here is the installation Guide: https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/765213
