Taro would always rush to sell his crops as soon as the harvest was done, fearing that prices might drop. Wei, on the other hand, observed the market closely. He noticed patterns—when there was an abundance, prices were low, and when the supply dwindled, prices soared.
One year, a drought hit the village. Taro, as usual, sold his crops immediately after the harvest at a modest price. Wei, however, noticed the signs of the drought and held onto his harvest, knowing that soon, there would be a shortage. As the months passed and food became scarce, the price of crops skyrocketed. Wei sold his harvest at a premium, making ten times what Taro had earned.
Arin paused, letting the story sink in. “Lian, trading in the market is like farming. It's not just about the crops you grow, but about understanding the seasons and the market conditions. Patience, observation, and timing are your best tools.”

With Michael Prescott Burney's EAs, I would recommend downloading a demo copy first, keep the demo copy for one month (or 2, or 3. The longer the better), without updating it. Then backtesting it for the last month (or 2 or 3, whatever you have waited without updating the EA) with the same settings used by Michael to create his brilliant backtests. Just to check if it had been overfitted. In my experience, most of his EAs are overfitted to historical price data and will not work in live trading.
