I would like the developer to come here and explain this: using the exact same configurations I used on the tester (using real ticks from Dukascopy), the behavior of the EA on the tester is completely different of when loaded on a live chart. I loaded it since yesterday on a live chart on a good broker with tight spreads. The EA took only 28 trades from 2022/05/23 13:29 to 2022/05/24 11:55 on the live chart, whereas in the strategy tester it took 128 trades in only 3 hours, and all winners! And you can see that in the tester the price was even kind of consolidating, and on the live chart we had some nice volatile price action where the EA was supposed to thrive.

On the strategy tester in visual mode I can see that the EA keeps the pending orders very tight with price, and let price hit the orders.

On the live chart the EA keeps the orders further away from price, and when price gets near the orders the EA keeps dragging the orders away and price almost never hits the orders.

Why this huge discrepancy? The broker I am using has the same XAUUSD data format of dukascopy, two decimals.

While I was writing the comment above, the tester was still running in visual mode, and I can see that the EA took more 245 TRADES in just 1 hour and 20min (if you compare with previous image)

Look how far away the orders are from price on a live chart compared to the strategy tester performance. The EA just keeps dragging that order bracket around price:

Look how nicely the EA works on the strategy tester, in only 5min took several trades!! Nothing to do with the performance on a live chart (this is a GIF, click on the image):

So I left the screen recording for almost 1 hour now to show the ridiculous difference between the performance of roxy on the strategy tester and on the live chart. Do you see all that price action before the recording started? The same behavior happened. The EA keeps the current price centered on the order bracket and just keeps dragging the bracket around with price right at the center. You see almost 1H and ZERO trades, and on the strategy tester the EA took several trades in 5 minutes. I am not even cherry picking stuff, you can choose any day, of any month of any  year and the EA will perform beautifully. Now the real proof will come in a couple of days. I will leave a screen recording with roxy loaded, and when the tick data for the 23rd and 24th of this month becomes available for download, I will replay those dates on the tester in visual mode so we can compare the performance:

Guys I went ahead and opened an account at IC Markets and even at Dukascopy (I figured to use the same broker from the real ticks backtest data), and lo and behold, still the same problem. The EA just not perform like it does on the strategy tester. On the live charts it keeps the orders far away from price and barely takes trades. On the tester it takes several trades in just 5 minutes. It is almost like on purpose. If that is confirmed, those guys just found a way to make the EAs look good on the tester and sell a bunch of EAs scamming people, then they can use the excuse/loophole "past performance is not indicative of future results".

I am almost 100% sure that when I replay yesterday and today on the tester we gonna see the EA working beautifully taking lots of trades.

Just so you know, the developer saw all this and did not even bother to explain the behavior, his reply was "I Cannot guarantee you profit" lol

I started testing his other bots, it seems they are all the same EA as this one, just with a different name and a bit different settings. Extra red flag here now. It seems I have wasted my money... The worst thing is that metaquotes won´t refund you.

More clues that this guy is here just scamming you. I tested his other EAs and most of them are exactly the same EA, he just changes the name and one or two settings. For example his EA called Monster Gold is in fact this one here (Roxy), the only difference is the Aggressive and Adaptive value in settings, which you can just change. The rest of the settings are identical and if you replay in visual mode you will see is the exact same EA. More and more red flags here.
