Hi Serhii, I purchased your tool recently and I am using it on a daily on an intense basis (more than 200 measurements on a daily basis). I would like to make some minor changes on your indicator and I am happy to pay for these modifications. Instead of having this indicator “Activated” by clicking on the “Text Block RULER” I want to make the following changes in that regard: (1) When the indicator is applied on a Chart, the indicator is automatically active (2) When I place my cursor on the chart from one point (candle stick) to an other point  the measurement tool does its thing and shows the measurements values in the Data Box. (3) By “Double Clicking” on the chart the Data Box of the previous measurement disappears from my chart (cleaning up the chart ready for a new measurement command). When I one again click with my mouse cursor on the chart from one point to another point a newly Data Box with fresh measurements appears on my chart. (4) Further I would like to have the option to increase the font size of the Data Window (positioning sizing of this window towards the X and Y-Axis is also requested). Please inform me if you can take on this assignment.  

Hi Serhii, the improvements of the revamped indicator are gynormous. I totally like the “Look and Feel” of it. The Response Time of the indicator is also terrific.

The Smart Ruler works flawlessly when I use it under “Normal Circumstances” (when I place the Smart Ruler as the only “Crosshair-Related-Indicator” on my Chart). The “Smart Ruler” will not work if it is applied on a chart on which a 2 ^nd“Crosshair-Related-Indicator” is applied such as the “Global Crosshair Indicator” that I use in order to synchronize all the crosshairs of every chart on my workspace.

This is not a surprise to me, because both indicators “are biting each other” (both are based on the crosshair functionality) and I might have a solution to prevent this. I noticed that by activating the “Smart Ruler” a crosshair is automatically popping up in front of my eyes. My “common sense” tells me that if the parameter setting is embedded into this indicato, such as “Enable/Disable Crosshair” that this issue most likely will be solved. In the case of a “Disabled Crosshair Parametering Setting” the Smart Ruler will need to depend on the use the “Mouse Cursor” to select and drag the cursor from point to point to calculate/plot the measured data (number of bars, time passed, number of pips, profit and lot size).

I truly hope that you can make this small modification within the Smart Ruler (Enable/Disable Crosshair) so that it can work in harmony with my “Global Crosshair Indicator”.

Thanks for you reply. I studied your parameter settings a couple of days ago and I was able to achieve the thing that you advised me above. And it is a kind a strange because, be following up your advise, it did function in that manner. But somehow both of the crosshair-related-indicator still bite each other, despite the "parameter settings arrow", because there are times that I am simply not able to have the Smart Ruler activated on my chart. I am thinking of submitting the open source code of the Global Crosshair Indicator to you, and I am willing to compensate you for your work to have both of the indicator working with each other in harmony. An to be honest I prefer that embed your programming in the open source code that I send you, and you can send it back to me as an protected indicator in which both the Global Cross Hair and your Smart Ruler are integrated. Please let me know if you are willing to to do this. 

Hi, nice indicator but one small problem.

the bar count is incorrect if the box is set in the future. I know this is a bug in MT5 (if you use anything other than the crosshair, drawing a line for eg, the bar count stops once it's past the last current live bar). however this would be very useful if you can fix it.
