The description has a limited word count so there's only so much I can fit in. I will therefore draw your attention to some added information through the comments section here.
Firstly, please note that the best time to change your parameters is when no pending orders are placed or entered. If you do update the parameters and notice that a pending order is immediately placed for the day, then you may wish to delete the pending order if the breakout has already happened.
If you are running with Martingale enabled and your previous trade was a losing trade, then changing your parameters will wipe any Martingale factor currently in play, taking the lot size back to its original value that you set in 'Lot Size'. This is also the case if the device that you are running the EA on performs a system restart.
If you are running a VPS then ensure that you set your MT4 terminal to restart automatically in the event of any automatically scheduled system restart. Simply go to settings>apps>startup, or equivalent, depending which operating system you are running.
Explanation of the EA's parameters that you can set:
Parameters
Explanation
Start Time (Broker Time)
Specifies the start time for the EA to look for the lower volatility's high price and low price
End Time (Broker Time)
Specifies the end time for the EA to look for the lower volatility's high price and low price
End of Day Time - Close Pending Order
Select the time to close the trade if take profit or stop loss is not reached
Entry Offset Above The High
States the buy entry in number of pips above the highest price identified between the Start and End time
Entry Offset Below The Low
States the sell entry in number of pips below the lowest price identified between the Start and End time
Candle Mode
Select whether you wish the high and low price to be found using the candle wicks (High/Low) or candle body (Open/Close)
Lot Size
e.g. 1 means 1 standard lot, 0.1 means 1 mini lot, 0.01 means 1 micro lot
Manual Stop Loss
Set to TRUE if you wish to state your own stop loss in number of pips from entry, otherwise FALSE will have the stop loss automatically placed in the middle between the high and low price indentified between the Start and End time.
Stop Loss
If Manual Stop Loss set to TRUE, this variable represents the pip value from entry where a losing trade closes.
Number of Orders
The number of times you wish to enter the same trade simultaneously, in which case you’d set a smaller ‘Lot Size’. This adds a manual touch to allow you to partially exit your trade should you wish.
Target Profit
Pip value from entry where a winning trade closes.
Enable Trading Range
Set to TRUE if you wish to limit entries on days of higher volatility.
Maximum Trading Range
If previous parameter above set to TRUE then enter the number of pips here to represent the largest pip measure in height between the low and the high price (found between Start and End times specified in row 1 and 2).
Days of the week
Simply set any day to False if you wish not to trade on a particular day of the week.
Test Mode Only Settings
These four settings simply allow you to optimise the best Start and End times, described in row 1 and 2 above.
Risk Multiplier
If Martingale Mode is selected, this variable defines the multiplier value applied to the lot size in the event of any losing trade. A winning trade will reset the lot size back to the original value specified in 'Lot Size'.
Martingale Mode
It defaults to none, but change to Martingale if you wish to add this feature to the breakout strategy. Martingale will automatically increase the lot size by the risk Multiplier, after a losing trade. A winning trade will then reset back to the original value specified in ‘Lot Size’.

15
Trail Pips
Number of pips both the stop loss and take profit moves when the price moves in your favour by a certain number of pips from entry, stated in ‘Trail Steps’.
16
Trail Steps
Number of pips before the trailing activates.

Anti-Martingale Mode
This mode is an added feature to experiment with again increasing your lot size automatically (by the Risk Multiplier) but this time when you have a win. A losing trade in this case resets the lot size to the original value specified in ‘Lot Size’.
By the way guys I purchased the EA and I have profit for last week already thanks so much! I just posted a positive review :-)
Does it have a magic number as I couldn't find one.
And when I add the EA to a chart, I get the following error message:
ERROR - NEW - error sending order, return error: 0

Thanks for getting in touch, Shyam. The magic number is in effect implemented but not as part of the more common approach using the ordersend() function. This is to ensure that other EAs by chance do not address the same magic number. This EA I believe is a smarter implementation which better ensures trades are not confused with other EA or any manual trades on the same account.
I adjusted the parameters on my instance of the EA over the weekend and also had the same error as you. It will run fine regardless, but I will keep an eye out to see if this error occurs again or whether it is a one off when attaching or amending over the weekend.
Hello Samuel,
I like the EA. I have noticed that there are times when the EA trades twice. For example today the EA traded once, but the trade stopped out. Then another set of pending orders were placed. I would like to make sure that the EA trades only once a day.
I also have an idea for an enhancement. Instead of the automated stop loss being set in the middle of the high/low price of the start/end time, can you change it to set the stop loss at the low of price if buying and the high of price when selling?
Thanks
Hi Samuel.
I like this EA. But is it possible to add a function that the SL is at the other side of the zone and not only at halv the zone.
Thank you in advance
Achim from Sweden
Hello tryed to message you getting this Error how can I fix it ?
thx
Seems it has sometimes problems to open Trades:
If someone has the same error its due to to many actions on the same time need to adjust the opening by shifting 1min or so.
Actually I still like it.
Asked serveral questions but never got an response so dont expect so much support. i hope the author is fine.
cheers
