Tiger Grid opens a trade only if the trend has the same direction of the order.

The SL line can be confusing so I am planning to remove this line on the next version.

Release note:

- Add parameter "Magic Number other EA". This parameter allows to avoid opening a grid if there are opened orders from another EA. With this new parameter you can use another grid system (like Wolfgrid) on the same trading account without having two opened grids in parallel.

5 - How to backtest Tigergrid

Prerequisite: Since this EA is using historical data from timeframe M15, H1, D1 therefore you need to import first those data. I recommend to use data from Tick Data Suite tool since it includes data with 99% modeling quality.

  1. Select Symbol: EURUSD
  2. Select Period: M15
  3. Select Model: Every Tick
  4. For Spread: Set 15 (points) for standard MT4 tester, or set Variable if you're using Tick Data Suite
  5. Under Expert Properties >> Testing tab, set "Initial Deposit" to $3000 USD (minimum recommended amount)
  6. Select your risk level between Low, Medium, High
  7. Start your Back Test as far back as from 2004 if you wish

The EA seem to have stopped working and the chart panel disappeared. Author has not yet responded. Anyone else has the same problem?

Hi,

The EA is still working while the smiley and the top right side has an happy face. However since you do not have the dashboard displayed on the chart I recommend to restart the EA. 

Last trade was 25/01 for your information.

1 - How to backtest EA ?

This EA uses multi timeframes data from M15, H1, D1. Therefore to perform backtest you have to load data for those timeframes in your terminal. I  recommend to use 3rd party applications like TickDataSuite to obtain high quality data in order to get the closest result to reality.
