Spike Finder
The EA waits for a spike according to a specific logic and open a position in spike direction setting stop loss and take profit.
When positions are in profit they are managed with smart trailing mechanism based also on elapsed time from opened position.
It works with 5-digitand 4-digit broker.
Must be used M1 chart.
Do not need historical data.
It does not use
Parameters
Recommendations
Control the risk and work with appropriate volumes (lots) to your capital.
Do backtest of good quality (99.9%) if You can.
It is recommended to use a low spread broker (true ECN account and/or spread less than 3 pips) and a VPS with low latency.

What's new: Added parameters to be used in case of 5-digit broker (divide by 10 for 4-digit broker):
spikeFilter,takeProfit,stopLoss,firstTrailStop,trailStop,allowedSpread,slippage.
Is suggested change only first parameter spikeFilter according specific trading market (see signal description for info) leaving the default value for all others.
For this version Take Profit fixed to 50 pips and Stop Loss value also fixed and reduced to 20 pips (default value parameters)

@enzo pellitteri Si puo' usare su tutte ma va ottimizzato per la specifica coppia (io ottimizzo solo il parametro spikeFilter) inoltre dipende dallo spread massimo ammesso (di dafault ho messo 3 pips) se lo usi con coppia con spread maggiori non apre nulla

Per il parametro ottimale da usare sul mio segnale pubblico il valore per coppia: ottimizzazione fatta sull tutto l'anno 2017 utilizando la stessa logica ma per MT5 quindi con tick data, allego foto per la coppia EurCad che verra' pubblicata sul prodotto per MT5

the idea of your Spike Finder EA is very good. I found it recently and will test it now.
Many years ago I had an EA who also traded spikes. At the end of the spike, he opened 2 limit orders, one above and one below the spike. These limit orders ran for a short time and then settled. The concept was geared towards the price falling. At the time (2012), it worked brilliantly. From 1000 to 10000 dollars in three and a half months. But then times changed and the EA no longer worked. Now the price often continues to rise after an upward spike and vice versa. I can therefore imagine that your EA works well if it is set up correctly.
Are you still working with the EA and do you have a set file?
