Bar Replay Strategy Tester

BAR REPLAY Single Window is a manual trading panel for practicing in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester’s visual mode. It lets you replay historical bars and place trades by clicking buttons on a single chart window, like live trading.

This is not an automated robot. It has no entry signals, indicators or strategy. Every trade is opened, modified and closed only when you click a button.

Features

• One-click BUY and SELL with a fixed lot size
• CLOSE ALL button for the EA’s positions on the current symbol
• SL+/SL- and TP+/TP- buttons to change Stop Loss and Take Profit in steps. They apply to open trades too.
• SL and TP return to your default values after all trades are closed
• MARK button to draw support/resistance lines at the current price, with move up, move down, delete and clear buttons
• Live open profit and total profit display
• On-chart clock with a configurable time zone offset
• Broker checks for minimum lot, lot step, stop levels and free margin

How to use

1. Open the Strategy Tester and select this EA.
2. Choose your symbol, timeframe and date range.
3. Enable Visual mode, then press Start.
4. Use the playback speed slider and pause to step through the market.
5. Click the panel buttons to practice entries, exits and risk management.

It also works on a live or demo chart as a one-click trading panel. Make sure Allow Algo Trading is enabled so the buttons can place orders.

Input parameters

Note: In a non-visual Strategy Tester run, where nobody can click the buttons, the EA opens a few minimum-lot demo trades to show that the trading functions work. This never happens on a live or demo account, or in visual mode. You can turn it off with Tester_Demo_Trades .
