Trading approach
Coral Wick brings a defined technical trading approach to NZDUSD on the H2 chart. It evaluates Stochastic oscillator, wick rejection and executes qualifying setups using pending limit orders. The signal rules are built into the expert advisor.
The entry session is 8:00 to 12:00 in broker-server time, subject to the compiled session logic. Signal evaluation uses the most recently completed candle. The stop-loss distance is 3.2 times Average True Range; the take-profit distance is 3.25 times Average True Range.
Volatility-based stop loss and take profit use Average True Range with fixed strategy multipliers.
Automatic broker checks
Order volume is automatically adjusted to the permitted size per order, volume step and remaining aggregate volume per symbol and direction. Positions and pending orders placed by other EAs or manually on the same account are included. Volume is only reduced. If the remaining allowance is below the minimum volume, the entry is skipped. Broker and margin conditions are checked before new orders; a reached pending-order count limit also blocks additional pending orders. Adjustments and skipped entries are recorded in the MT5 journal under [BROKER-CHECK]. These checks operate automatically in the tester and in live/demo use; no additional settings are required.
Settings
RiskPercent — Risk per trade: default 2.0% of account equity. Position size is calculated from risk and stop-loss distance.
News_Filter_Enabled — News filter on/off, default true. Controls both the event window and the news-day entry block.
Use_Friday_Close — Friday close on/off, default true. When enabled, the EA closes its own positions, deletes its pending orders and blocks further entries on Fridays from 15:05 broker-server time.
Use_Daily_DD_Limit / Daily_DD_Percent — Daily equity-loss limit, default true / 10.0%.
Use_Max_Agg_Risk / Max_Agg_Risk_Pct — Calculated aggregate open-risk limit before new entries, default true / 4.0%.
Use_Max_Margin / Max_Margin_Pct — Account margin limit including the proposed trade, default true / 30.0%.
Use_Profit_Target / Profit_Target_Pct — Equity profit target relative to initial account balance, default false / 10.0%.
Strategy parameters, trading sessions, news window and magic number are fixed. Change settings under EA Properties > Inputs; press F7 on the chart.
News filter
When enabled, the news filter checks relevant events for the traded symbol. The event window runs from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after release. During that window, the EA closes its own positions and deletes its pending orders. The built-in news-day guard also blocks new entries on relevant event days. Setting News_Filter_Enabled = false disables both rules.

The feed requires internet access and available calendar data. The built-in event selection and time window remain unchanged.
Installation and operation
Use MetaTrader 5 for Windows or a Windows VPS with a connected broker account. Copy the EX5 to File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Experts and refresh the Navigator. Open NZDUSD on H2, attach the EA and enable Algo Trading. Use one instance per product and symbol. Keep the terminal or VPS running. DLL permission is not required.
If calculated volume is below the broker minimum, the entry is skipped. Daily loss, aggregate risk, margin and profit-target guards operate in live/demo use and are disabled in the Strategy Tester. Historical news filtering is not reproduced in the tester. The daily limit uses equity at the start of the broker day or initialization; the profit target uses balance at the first tick. At the threshold, the EA attempts to close its own positions and deletes its pending orders. The daily limit blocks until the next broker day; the profit target blocks until reinitialization. Restarting can reset internal reference values. Other trades affect account values. Limits do not guarantee a maximum loss. Trading can result in losses.
