Gold Raptor X — Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
Gold Raptor X automates order placement and position management using configurable rules. Development and optimization have focused on XAUUSD (Gold). The EA can also be configured for other broker symbols, provided their spread, contract specifications and execution are assessed separately.
Reference setup: XAUUSD on an H1 chart. Suggested starting capital: at least USD 500, subject to leverage, minimum lot size and broker conditions. ECN accounts with raw spreads are preferable to limit execution costs. Actual spreads and commissions should be included when evaluating results.
Risk and trading controls
Gold Raptor X does not use martingale, grids or progressive lot increases to recover losses. Every order has a configurable Stop Loss. Position size can be fixed or calculated from a chosen percentage of balance or equity. In percentage-risk mode, the EA skips an order if the broker's minimum lot would exceed the calculated risk.
A configurable spread filter can block new entries and remove pending orders if the spread exceeds the selected limit. Orders can be cleared at the start of a new broker day. A broker-time trading session, annual date block, optional re-entry and one-entry-cycle-per-day mode provide further control.
Position management
Stop Loss is set when an order opens. A fixed-distance Take Profit is available but disabled by default (value zero). An optional partial close can act once per position when profit reaches the chosen threshold. The step trailing stop can move the Stop Loss according to its activation distance, break-even offset and step increments.
Optional emergency protection monitors the floating loss of each EA position. When one position reaches the chosen percentage of balance or equity, the EA attempts to close its positions, removes pending orders and blocks new entries until the next broker day. This is not an account-wide drawdown limit measured from peak equity. Closing execution depends on market and broker conditions.
Input guide
• Symbol and execution: InpTradeSymbol selects a symbol (blank uses the chart symbol); InpMagicNumber identifies EA orders; InpDeviationPoints sets permitted deviation; InpDeleteAtNewBrokerDay controls pending-order removal at the broker day change.
• Position sizing: InpLotSizingMode chooses fixed lots or percentage risk; InpLots sets fixed volume; InpRiskPercent sets the percentage; InpRiskCapitalMode chooses balance or equity.
• Entry filters: InpMaxSpread sets maximum spread (zero disables it); InpEnableMultipleEntries enables optional re-entry; InpOneTradeAtATime restricts the EA to one entry cycle per broker day and blocks additional positions while one is open.
• Trading session: InpUseSessionFilter enables it; InpSessionStartHour, InpSessionStartMinute, InpSessionEndHour and InpSessionEndMinute set broker-time hours; InpCancelAtSessionEnd removes pending orders when the session ends.
• Date block: InpUseDateBlock enables the annual pause; InpBlockStartMonth, InpBlockStartDay, InpBlockEndMonth and InpBlockEndDay define its dates; InpCloseAtBlockStart can close EA positions when the pause begins.
• Exits: InpStopLossDistance sets Stop Loss distance; InpTakeProfitDistance sets fixed Take Profit distance (zero disables it).
• Partial close: InpEnableProfitPartialClose enables it; InpProfitTriggerPercent sets the profit threshold; InpProfitClosePercent sets the percentage of position volume to close.
• Emergency protection: InpEnableEmergencyFloatingLoss enables it; InpEmergencyFloatingLossPercent sets the floating-loss threshold for an individual position.
• Trailing Stop: InpTrailingActivation, InpBreakEvenOffset, InpTrailingProfitStep and InpTrailingSLStep control activation and each subsequent Stop Loss adjustment.
Price distances and spread limits use the symbol's price units; deviation is measured in points. Session times follow broker time.
Testing and settings
The Market demo can be evaluated in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. Historical reports allow traders to inspect trades, losses and equity drawdown alongside overall results. After purchase, I will send the .set file used in the published tests through MQL5 messages, allowing buyers to start with those settings and adapt them to their broker and account.
I am offering Gold Raptor X for sale to finance the next stage of my project and trade it live with larger capital. Each trader is responsible for testing the EA and choosing suitable risk. Backtests are historical and do not guarantee future performance.
