Modes b and c are not size based but calculate prices based on the first or the last leg of the pattern.
If any price is invalid its corrected (if its a buy and sl is above open price) using the 10% of the pattern height as a new stop
or the stop limit if it exists in the broker.
In any case , when these patterns are traded the stops will be checked against the brokers limits so you might get a wider stop on your trades due to the broker not allowing stops that close to the current price.
