This tool is only a visual indicator, so it will not open any trades.
Please install and use it like this:

1. Copy the DropVolShieldMonitor.ex4 file into
   MT4 → File → Open Data Folder → MQL4 → Indicators .

2. Restart MT4.

3. Open your chart (for example XAUUSD M1 or M5).

4. In the Navigator → Indicators list, drag Drop & Volatility Shield Monitor onto the chart.

After that, you should see a text status bar at the top-center of the chart like:

Drop Shield: NORMAL | ATRx1.05 | Spr: 0.30/0.60

If nothing appears, please let me know your MT4 build and broker, and I will check it.
