Spreads are different for every broker, so we always recommend backtesting before purchase. Based on your broker’s conditions, you may need to make minor adjustments in the EA settings to get optimal results.

In your screenshot, you tested only June ’25 to July ’25. Short-period backtests are not always accurate. Results can be affected by several factors such as market volatility, spread, news events, and history data accuracy. Sometimes the market becomes highly volatile, and even a well-performing EA can struggle during such months — that’s likely what happened in that period.

For better accuracy, I always suggest backtesting on recent months with a longer date range.

If, even after making proper setting adjustments, the backtest results are still poor, then please do not buy the EA.
