Ran this EA on a demo account for a week, didn't see any trades, then realised I had set the lots to high, I am a twat. Anyway set the correct lot size and it took three trades in the first day for a good profit, now to complet the demo test again with correct settings, lol. I'll report back at end of week.

FYI running on demo with $7k balance at 0.7 lot XAUUSD 5m  3 trades made so far 2 profit 1 loss total of $2244.90

OK, Demos are looking good, Have applied new 2.0 update, still running on demo, put on a live account and a cheap prop account, you gotta test all scenarios ;o)

Can I know what changed with the new Update?

It hasn't taken a trade yet, but not noticed a difference.

I simply updated and enhanced the code, specifically the main algorithm that determines the entry point for trades.

I'm looking for 2.1 as well if there's anyway to have the updated version. It seems mine isn't making any as well. I already downloaded the main file after purchasing though

Yes, they are!

But right now is having a big debacle with 5 long positions opened during a bearish period!

Yes me too with default settings... today is the R.I.P. Mirage day... Closing and opening opposing positions instead of insisting on the grid would have been better...
This EA doesn't use Martingale (increase the next position lot), but use Grid (open position in the same direction of the first, until win), but can be very dangerous, and today is the proof.

Anyway the risk is part of trading... but this EA need improvements for sure, this kind of situations are not rare on gold... and form an EA that claims to be Pro level on XAUUDS... we need some kind of safety...

Hello, yes, the expert advisor is equipped with a loss cap that can stop all orders once a certain loss is reached.

However, we can definitely improve it and achieve further security. It's also fine if you want to send me some suggestions, I'm here. 

I think the grid is precisely the weakness of this EA; it should be completely eliminated. It's better to lose a few individual trades than to get trapped in a suicidal grid. A few trades can be recovered (fortunately, Mirage has a very high success rate), but just one unlucky grid is enough to ruin everything. It's not worth the risk. Or, at some point, it should be able to switch to selling. This is the exact same weakness it inherits from Goldwind. This is my advice. Also in the backtest 100% of fails and 100% of drawdown picks are because of a suicidal grid.
