I tried backtesting on eurusd 1h with take profit disabled and close by continue zigzag activated but the backtest shows a loss. Is there a set file or any setting needs to be changed? Thanks!

The ZigZag Fibo EA has good potential and shows good results.

However, the final result depends on the trader. The trader selects settings in accordance with the current market situation and his idea of the trend.

Unfortunately, there are no EA who always make money on any part of history and on any instrument using a fixed lot.


The exception is the grid/martingail, in which the EA earns constantly, but risks the entire deposit.

The ZigZag Fibo EA does not use a grid/martingale.

i downloaded the zigzag fibo EA and i am testing it on the GBPUSD. Im using mt5. I am currently using the strategy tester to generate a set file that has the market risk i prefer to trade. the bot is testing very well and this is the first pair i test it with. I would like to ask you if there i a possibility you could add a newserver to it that could prevent trades before news events?  thanks for this EA. It is testing really good at the moment in backtest

I’ve tested the advisor, and it’s performing well. However, the trailing stop doesn’t seem to work for short positions; it appears to function only for long positions. Is this a bug? Is there an update available?
