Thanks for purchasing Trendometer.

The indicator is originally designed for scalping low-spread major currency pairs (EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, AUDUSD, AUDCAD, etc.) during London session. The best time frames for this indicator are M1, M5 and M15.

Would you add a low rent Option for making it possible to test it for a month! ?!?

Quick question... is this indicator good to find out 'long term' trend? Such as on H4 and above time frame?

Thanks

Hi niki1,

Thanks for purchasing the Trendometer indicator.

I explain the method I use to calibrate the input settings for scalping:

1. Attach the indicator to a M1 or M5 chart with the default settings.

2. Draw two vertical lines one at the beginning and another at the end of London session of the previous day.

3. Observe the Trendometer signals between these two vertical lines.

4. Change the default input settings one at a time and observe the Trendometer signals during the London session.

5. Repeat the previous step until you get the best input settings.

6. Use those settings for today's trading.

Hope this helps you with your scalping trades.

Best,

Rasoul

Thanks for purchasing Trendometer!

I personally use this indicator on M1/M5 charts for scalping, but I used to attach it with default settings to M15 charts for having a bigger view of the market. If you want to use the indicator for scalping on M1/M5, use the following method to calibrate the input settings for the best results:

1. Attach the indicator to a M1 or M5 chart with the default settings.

2. Draw two vertical lines one at the beginning and another at the end of London session of the previous day.

3. Observe the Trendometer signals between these two vertical lines.

5. Repeat the previous step until you get the best input settings.

6. Use those settings for today's trading.

Best,

I recently bought Trendometer and Pattern Recognition with Alerts and I am very satisfied with them both. I use them separately on diferent charts and I wonder whether it is possible to use them on the same chart. If it is possible I'd like you to give me some suggestions about that.

Thanks,

Nisargananda

Hello Nisargananda,

Thanks for purchasing Trendometer and Pattern Recognition with Alerts!

You can definitely attach both indicators to the same chart with no problem. I personally use Trendometer to identify breakout from a ranging period on lower timeframes. The pattern recognition indicator can be used on any timeframe but it is the most accurate on higher timeframes such as H4 and D1.

Rasoul

You are welcome! As you can see, the next candle (after Hammer pattern) is bullish, but the trend is downwards as Trendometer shows. I simply ignore patterns which are not in the direction showing by Trendometer.

What is this?

Hello,

Which "things" in the picture you are referring to?

Signal to late or fals??
Signals are according to the pattern that the user set in the input settings. You can change it to some other pattern to get better signals. However, the idea of this indicator is to use it for breakout detection of a ranging period in M1 and M5 time frames. You can see a description of this method on page 1 of the comments with picture that I post.
