Hi,
Hi,
Does Red dragon trading work on weekends?
Is there a setting for its customization?
Hi Author,
There are 6 trailing modes, can you explain what's their difference? If my trade volume is large, which mode is best for me? By the way, I find the trading time for EA Red dragon is very short, this may need very short linkage time to brokers server, very small slippage and slippage, and also trading volume need be small, but for your another EA, which is EA maximum breakouts. the trading time is much larger than Red Dragon, is it because of they using different trail strategy?

These are slightly different types of trailing stop: for example, some mods do not use the STEP parameter, and the trailing stop is modified every tick if the position is in profit.
Bid = current price.
1) mod = Trailing stop (10) stepwise (5) , Example: Bid - SL >= 10 + 5, SL moves to the price level Bid - 10.
2) mod = Trailing stop (10) standard with step (5) , Example: Bid - open price >= 10 + 5 and Bid - SL >= 10 + 5, SL moves to the Bid price level - 10.
3) mod = Trailing stop (10) with N points handicap, Example: Bid - open price >= 10 + 10 and Bid - SL >= 10 + 10, SL moves to the Bid price level - 10.
4) mod = Trailing stop (20) step by step (10) ( 20 and 10, from open price ), Example: Bid - open price >= 10, and Bid - SL >= 10, SL moves to the Bid price level - 10.
5) mod = Trailing stop(10) by step (5) , Example: Bid - SL >= 10, SL moves to the Bid price level - 5.
6) mod = trailing stop (10) stepwise (5) , Example: Bid - SL >= 10, SL moves to the Bid price level - 5. (SL moves even if it is equal to zero).
It is recommended to use mod 6, it is standard in increments.
Recommended brokers: weltrade (PRO Account) — has a low spread and no commission and roboforex (Account PRIME) — has a low spread and has low commissions.

If I backtest using 'Every Tick' settings I have great results, but if I backtest using 'Every tick based on read ticks' results are very bad.
Why is this difference?
Here is a test with every tick
Here is a test with 'every tick based on real ticks' settings. As you can see is a big difference in results.

hi,
The simulation "every tick based on real ticks " has a slip and spread and may be slightly higher than in real trading.
