A couple of examples how to configure and use INFINITY TrendLine.


Use a pair of EURUSD (H1) with a HTF filter (W1). Calculation of traded transactions only with HTF=true and HistoryBars=3000 candles (about 4 months). Result: 13,686 points.

Setfile:EURUSD_H1


Or we use the DAX30 index with a period of H1 without a HTF filter.Result: 60,522 points at the same period.

Hi Evgenii, i am new to forex and wasn't doing very well but having bought your Infinity Pro im feeling more confident now. I still dont know how to use it completely and dont seem to have any of the lines on it that show which way a pair is trending, ie the 2 lines with the candles inside. I can see the red and blue lines ok. I also dont have the htf histogram?  I wish you could make an in depth video explaining how it all works lol

ah I just realised I have to buy the hft histogram but i saw your post about getting it free if i have bought another infinity which i did yesterday so can i have the hft for free please xxx

                      No need to worry, just figured it out. Still had demo version running on chart. Took that off and put paid version on and viola!.

Hello,

I just bought the Trendline PRO indicator and trying to use it in my EA.

double val0 = iCustom(NULL, PERIOD_CURRENT, "Market\\Infinity Trendline PRO.ex4", 0, 1);

I got it working but after a few ticks I get this error:
"Infinity Trendline PRO.ex4 USDJPY,M15: array out of range in 'INFINITY TrendLine PRO.mq4' (830,25)

Any idea what causes this error?

Hi Evgenii, current version has period 5 as standard setting, so if I leave scanner window open with this setting and I get a signal with M5 and some time later another one with H1, does that mean both signals are accurately calculated, because I thought you have to adopt period settings to the corresponding timeframe you wanna trade? Could everybody please just state their period setting and timeframe they are trading with? Whats the best setting for M5, M15, M30, H1? Thanks for your help.

Hello.

Realy, if you use the parameter Amplitude = 5, then it works to calculate the main indicator (on the main chart) and all periods and pairs in the scanner. If you want to trade a short-timeframe, choose an amplitude of less than 5 and set the same value in HTF_Histogram.

You can open the scanner panel on another chart and specify a different amplitude value in the settings. For higher timeframes H1 and above, use an amplitude higher 5 (I usually use 7-9).

The best parameters I found were when using the H1 main chart and H4 HTF-filter.
