Hi, I thing that something seems wrong with Alligator William indicator. I thing the expert doesn't use values of the shift signals (jaw, teeth and lips) but the value of signals where is placed the candle. It opens a sell when Alligator say buy !!! (I have placed the trigger on Bollinger)

 

What value did you use for 'Indicators Shift'?

Good EA but two things that would make it great would be ATR confirmation/signal and max allowed open trades so you can stay in a winning trade with an ATR trailing EA.

    Congratulations on Universal EA. It's really fantastic. All tests carried out to date are all favourable. But I found a mistake and I would wear myself out if you told me how to solve it.
    The back test was carried out with the following simple configuration.
     Fixed lot 0.10, TP 70, SL 0, Trailing Star 50, Trailing Stop 30, Trailing Step 15, Break Even Star 15, Break Even Pips15, MA 6-14 Trigger + RSI 14 Confirmation.
    The problem is that I don't understand why I close the trade in negative if I have the SL at 0 and the trailing and Break Even have not been activated. With this configuration all operations should be positive. 
    I look forward to your response.

    Enhorabuena por Universal EA. Es realmente fantástico. Todas las pruebas realizadas hasta la fecha son todas favorables. Pero encontré un error y me agotaría si me dijeras cómo resolverlo.
    La prueba de respaldo se llevó a cabo con la siguiente configuración simple.
    Lote fijo 0.10, TP 70, SL 0, Trailing Star 50, Trailing Stop 30, Trailing Step 15, Break Even Star 15, Break Even Pips15, MA 6-14 Trigger + RSI 14 Confirmation.
    El problema es que no entiendo por qué cierro la operación en negativo si tengo el SL en 0 y el trailing y el Break Even no se han activado. Con esta configuración, todas las operaciones deben ser positivas.
    Espero con interés su respuesta.

    También puede simplemente arrastrar una imagen al texto o insertarla usando Ctrl+V

    I sent you a message. This does not seem to be a bug. Look at trade #47 as an example. It was 15 pips in profit. You have a negative overall profit because of broker commissions most likely.

    I am currently using the EA and it is killing.. I think in my opinion it works best on the USD/JPY pair.. I'm trading $3 lots and am up over 6k in a week on a 100k Demo.. hats off to the developer!!

    An example .set is available for download off our site. Link in profile. Other than that, I would suggest you use the optimizer for the indicators you like.

    Hi All, thank you, this EA is working, its just i need to play with the setting.. Anybody can help me? i Use the Slow and fast Ma ti trigger open position, its just the EA opened the position after 1 candle closed. How can i trigger the position right away after the MA Cross? i dont want the EA to wait until the candle is closed.. OR at least, when the new candle is open after the MA Cross. PLEASE HELP..

    Did you set 'Indicators Shift' to 0?

    Sorry, but no. You will need to run this in the optimizer for the exact symbol and time frame you want.

    I'd need more information to answer you because this could be caused by many things other than the EA. For example, not enough margin or maybe automated trading is disabled.

    Sorry about the delay. I did not get notified of your comment. Please check 'Max. Martingale Orders' and 'Martingale Multiplier'. These are used if option 3 lot mode (Martingale) is enabled. For example, if you set the multiplied to 1 then don't expect martingale to work. Or if you set the max orders to 0 then it won't work too. It takes all 3 settings to have valid settings to work.
