Hi Martin, I am testing EA new version v1.80. What does it mean: "Misc. speed increases" ? Thanks
For example, let's say Stochastic is enabled, the input is set to 'Trigger', if the main line crossed over the signal line, how long the signal will be and stay fresh for open a trade? (granted other signals and conditions are met of course). Thanks.
Hi Martin, I checked latest MQL Universal EA version v1.80, on my demo account. In confirm mode RSI, WPR, and CCI indicator give always a sell signal and so EA opens only sell trades, also when the last cross was a cross upwards of the low line. Why? This happens also using them together with other indicators. I think there is any software or programming errors. Can you resolve this matter? Thanks a lot.
You already sent an email about this. So it can be discussed there instead.
Current version 1.80 EA opens only sell orders using RSI WPR and CCI indicators, while 1.81 version EA change buy/sell signal in few second in the same candle. I checked them for the umpteenth time on my demo account otherwise I would have lost all the money! I said you this many times but have not yet solved the problem.
No, you have not reported the sell only problem "umpteeth" times because that problem was only reported late last week and it was spotted soon afterwards. So I find it odd that you would exaggerate the number of times you supposedly complained about this problem. Actually, you were provided with an updated version over the holiday weekend (which nobody else has, by the way) to try and make you happy. So why you continue to mention the sell only problem is completely not understood. That is history already! If you want to waste time and continue to test that old version, that is your problem.
About v1.81 which was sent to you directly over the weekend, there is no problem. The problem you have with that version is because you still do not understand confirm mode and/or use incorrect settings. I have tried to explain it to you multiple times. The EA was not meant to place orders based solely on confirm. That is what Triggers are for. Neither was it meant to run with no triggers set. I do not have any time to try and explain it to you anymore. So v1.81 works fine in my opinion.
As already clearly explained to you, v1.82 is pending MQL5.com approval. So I find it odd how you would continue to run v1.80 and even v1.81, which has not problem but just doesn't work as you prefer. Version 1.82 has the confirm mode changed in response to your suggestion. So just wait for that. In the meantime, if you want to test those versions, especially v1.80, go ahead, but the issues you had with those versions will not magically be fixed the more you test them.

Well, v.1.81 doesn't work fine and properly as indicated by the instructions. V.1.81 EA changes type signal (buy/sell) in a short time as few seconds in the same 1 minute candle. Do you think it is correct confirm mode? No I don't. You can not understand how each indicator works if you are using 10 indicators simultaneously. V.1.71 EA worked correctly in confirm mode. I suggested you some improvements for v.1.71 but the changes that you made in latest version have damaged RSI and CCI WPR confirm mode functionality.
I can not use real account when I'm not sure the EA works correctly and fine.
I sincerely hope that the v.1.82 EA will be correct and fixed as regard confirm mode functions.

How can you say v1.71 worked correctly when you are the one that complained to have it changed??? It was posted publicly here for everyone to see. It's like I am talking to two different people sometimes.
Again, v1.81 does not have any problem. The so-called problem is because you do not understand how to use confirm mode. If you want to use confirm mode with no triggers, this is what will happen! I do not know how else to explain it to you. To make it worse, you are probably testing only 1 indicator in confirm mode. It was not meant to work like this. So what you are saying is normal for the settings you are attempting to use.

I think you're only interested in selling your products and not to improve them.
I think you're only interested in selling your products and not to improve them.
I will repeat: I said v.1.71 EA worked correctly in confirm mode, but I suggested you some improvements for v.1.71 confirm mode, also by email, for example it is a buy signal when RSI line crosses upwards both low-level or high-level. Conversely it is a sell signal when RSI line-value crosses downwards both high-level or low-level. (in this way it is possible to take advantage of both horizontal and strongly trend market). Instead the changes that you made in latest version v1.81 have worsened confirm mode work, because v1.81 EA changes type signal (buy/sell) in a short time as few seconds. I do not have the source code, so the only way for me to check the correct indicator operations is to use them one at a time. I am sure of what I say. Everyone can make mistakes, but it is important to remedy them. Otherwise there would be no updates.
Here is an example of how you contradict yourself. Right here on MQL5.com on 2016.10.07 at 03:50 you said:
"I'm testing your software MQL Universal EA Version 1.71 - 2015.12.03 and I realized by chance that there is an error in the operation of the RSI, CCI and WPR indicators; that is, in corfirmation mode when the RSI value cross above the high-line the Expert Advisor immediately put out a buy signal, while when RSI value cross below the low-hine the EA give a sell signal."
This is just one example. So you clearly contradict yourself.
Furthermore, as I said many times, I do not have time to try an explain to you anymore what you are doing wrong. I do not know how else to say it!!! You simply do not understand. And no, you do not have to test the indicators one at a time in confirmation mode to see if they are working correctly!
Hi, v1.81 EA, in RSI WPR CCI confirm mode, changes type signal (buy/sell) in a short time as few seconds, that is it's a buy signal when current price swings one pip upward, and become sell signal, as few seconds, when current price swings one pip downward. It is a code error! Can you solve it as soon as possible? Thanks
I am starting to think you are playing games with me and purposely trying to waste my time. As I said many times before, there is a new version pending with MQL5.com. Secondly, as I made clear, the so-called problem you are seeing is because you do not understand confirm mode and are not setting the EA correctly. The results you are seeing are 100% correct for the settings you are using!!!
Is it correct confirm mode that the signal changes as few seconds when current price swings one pip upward or downward?? It is not normal!! It is a programming error!! Anyone can verify it. If it is as you say, why v1.71 EA and v.1.80 EA confirm mode working logic is completely different from v1.81 EA? You are a programmer you should be able to fix it
You are playng games with my money and people's money.
I sincerely hope that the next version EA will be correct and fixed as regard confirm mode functions and working logic.

Yes, it is normal because you are using 1 indicator in confirm mode ONLY. You are not using any triggers. Nor are you using other indicators at the same time. The EA was not meant to be used like this. Triggers are for entering orders and confirm is for confirming. What is so hard to understand??? It was a mistake not to have a popup message warning people of invalid settings in this situation. I never thought in a million years something so simple would be so hard to understand. It is a good idea in a future update to make this EA more fool proof. So if someone tries using no triggers and only 1 indicator in confirm mode, the EA will not work.
Note to all readers: Luigi Vella is using a special version made specifically for him because he did not want to wait for the new MQL5.com update to be approved. It was an attempt to make him happy. So some of these comments may not make sense to you.
About your question about why version 1.71 and 1.80 work differently, it is because they ARE different. Each of those versions had changes done to confirm mode. So your defense has no base.
Nobody is playing games here except you. You contradict yourself and it seems like I am talking to 2 different people sometimes.

Can you explain me and to all readers as new version will work in confirm mode? You said above 1.71 and 1.80 are different from new update version. Thanks.
????
The new version, which will be submitted this weekend, will work as the following:
For confirm mode, for RSI, CCI and WPR, the EA will check for the last cross of the low/high level. For example, if the CCI had crossed above the lower level a few candles ago and is still below the high level, only a buy order can be placed. And if the CCI had crossed below the high level and is still above the low level, a sell order can be placed.
The EA will also have fool-proof checks so settings are not used incorrectly. So there must be at least 1 trigger used. And there will be some other checks too. This should clear up the so-called 'problem' you are seeing because it will be impossible to use settings which will cause this in the first place.
