Range Breakout EA – breakout trading on DAX, Nasdaq and USDJPY

The Range Breakout EA waits each day for the market to break out of a quiet phase and enters in the direction of the breakout. A filter skips unsuitable days. Every trade has a fixed stop loss and a take profit at a multiple of the risk from the start. All positions are closed the same day.

Symbols: GER40 (DAX), NAS100 (Nasdaq 100) and USDJPY, each with a ready-made preset. The EA detects the symbol automatically by name (e.g. GER40, DE40, DAX, NAS100, US100, USTEC). If your broker uses a different name, select the preset manually. One chart per symbol, any timeframe.

Broker time: The presets are designed for brokers with server time GMT+2 (GMT+3 in summer), which is standard for most MT5 brokers. If your broker uses a different server time, enter the difference in hours under “Broker time shift”, e.g. −2 for GMT+0 or −1 for GMT+1.
