Sessions FVG Analyzer

Sessions FVG Analyzer is a multi-session Fair Value Gap detection indicator designed for MetaTrader 5. It automatically tracks, calculates, and projects Fair Value Gaps formed across all global market sessions: Asia, London, New York Morning, and New York Afternoon.

The indicator is built for Smart Money Concepts (SMC) and price action traders who rely on session timing and institutional liquidity imbalances. It functions across all symbols, including Forex pairs, Indices, Commodities, and Crypto.

How It Works

A Fair Value Gap occurs when strong market momentum creates an imbalance between three consecutive candles.

  1. Bullish FVG: Created when Candle 1 high does not overlap with Candle 3 low, leaving an unfilled price range in Candle 2.

  2. Bearish FVG: Created when Candle 1 low does not overlap with Candle 3 high, leaving an unfilled price range in Candle 2.

  3. Session Filtering: The indicator categorizes each imbalance based on the broker server time and session parameters defined in the settings, allowing traders to monitor whether London imbalances are filled during New York hours or left open as targets.

Input Parameters

  • General Settings:

    • Enable_Asia_Session: Enable or disable Asian session detection (true/false).

    • Enable_London_Session: Enable or disable London session detection (true/false).

    • Enable_NY_Session: Enable or disable New York session detection (true/false).

    • Show_Only_Unmitigated: Display only unmitigated imbalances (true/false).

  • Session Timing:

    • Asia_Start_Time: Start hour and minute for Asia.

    • Asia_End_Time: End hour and minute for Asia.

    • London_Start_Time: Start hour and minute for London.

    • London_End_Time: End hour and minute for London.

    • NY_Start_Time: Start hour and minute for New York.

    • NY_End_Time: End hour and minute for New York.

  • Color & Display Settings:

    • Bullish_Gap_Color: Color for bullish imbalances.

    • Bearish_Gap_Color: Color for bearish imbalances.

    • Fill_Color_Transparency: Transparency level for imbalance zones.

  • Alerts:

    • Enable_PopUp_Alerts: Pop-up alert on terminal when price enters gap (true/false).

    • Enable_Push_Notifications: Mobile push notifications (true/false).

    • Enable_Sound_Alerts: Sound alerts on trigger (true/false).
