Audjpy H4 Trader is an automated trading Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5, designed for AUDJPY (Australian dollar / Japanese yen) on the H4 timeframe.
It places buy trades based on trending and ranging market conditions and manages trades from entry to exit.
There are only two input parameters: "Lot Size" and "Magic Number".
The trading rules and the methods for calculating take profit and stop loss are fixed within the product and cannot be adjusted by users.
Main Features
- Buy trades only.
- Fixed lot size. No automatic compounding or automatic risk calculation based on account balance.
- No averaging down, martingale, or grid trading.
- The EA holds a maximum of one position at a time.
- Automatically sets take profit (TP) and stop loss (SL). It also closes positions according to its trading conditions.
The EA makes trading decisions based on H4 conditions and may hold positions for several days. It is not designed for frequent trading over short periods.
Losing trades and consecutive losses can occur. It can be difficult to assess the EA's characteristics from only a few trades, so review backtests covering a sufficiently long period before purchasing.
Using the EA for a long time does not guarantee profits.
TP and SL distances vary depending on trading conditions and may be changed while a position is open.
The loss per trade is not constant, even when the same lot size is used.
The EA may refrain from placing new orders when entry conditions are not met or while its predefined waiting conditions following a profitable exit remain in effect.
Positions may be held for several days, and swap credits or charges also affect profit and loss.
Operating Environment

Trading decisions use four-hour bars based on Japan Standard Time.
The boundaries of these bars may differ from those of the H4 bars displayed on your chart.
The EA is not exclusive to a particular broker. However, it assumes a server time of UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer, following the US daylight saving time schedule.
There is no setting to support other server time schedules.
Check your intended broker's server time schedule and test the trial version before purchasing.
Results vary depending on price history and trading conditions. The same results are not guaranteed with other brokers.
Input Parameters

Set Lot Size according to your broker's minimum and maximum trade volumes and volume step.
If the value does not meet these requirements, the EA either adjusts the volume to a valid value no greater than the configured size or skips the order.
The default value may not be suitable for every account balance.
Do not change Magic Number after starting operation. Use the same number when reattaching or restarting the EA.
Saved management state may remain even when there are no open positions.
Do not change the number or delete saved state to bypass errors or waiting conditions.
Setup and Usage Notes
- Attach the EA to an AUDJPY H4 chart.
- Check Lot Size and Magic Number.
- Enable automated trading in both MT5 and the EA, and keep MT5 running on a PC or VPS.
A VPS is recommended to keep MT5 running continuously.
If you use a PC, ensure that sleep mode or shutting down the PC does not interrupt the EA.
VPS costs are the user's responsibility.
Run only one instance of this EA on AUDJPY in the same account, and avoid combining it with manual trading or other EAs on AUDJPY.
In particular, netting accounts combine trades into a single position, which may prevent this EA from continuing to manage the position.
If trade history or the positions to be managed cannot be verified, some trading or position management functions may be temporarily paused.
Check the Experts log in MT5 for the EA's operating status.
Stopping MT5, disabling automated trading, or removing the EA also stops the EA's position closing and TP/SL modifications.
TP and SL orders already accepted by the broker remain in place, but execution at the specified prices is not guaranteed.
Before Purchasing
Use the MQL5 Market trial version to run backtests with your intended broker's price history and trading conditions.
The trial version runs only in the MT5 Strategy Tester. It cannot run on regular charts or be used for forward testing on a demo account.
