Elastic Grid updated to version 4.0

What's new:

Added ability to control expert trading time.

Now the expert can be configured to work only in a given time range or only outside this range.

Additionally, you can configure whether to remove expert orders at the end of the trade ... or within the range when trading outside it.

Also, if you use the adviser on different charts, but on the same currency pair (with different magic numbers), you can configure its work not only with any schedule, but also with different settings.

These features can especially help with the automation of any grid strategy when trading in flat.

Description of settings

New settings related to time trading:

Trading Time mode Dashboard

For this mode, the adviser creates a special indicator panel, which improves control over the selected settings and constantly monitors the current trading situation, accompanying it with various additional indicators. By clicking on the upper right small square (of any color), you can collapse or expand the panel again, thereby controlling its display on the chart at any time.

A few examples:

Options for using the time mode:

- Trade only inside the specified range

- Trade only outside the specified range

- Scheduled trading: simultaneous launch of an expert on different charts of the same currency instrument with different time ranges and settings. It is only necessary to use different magic numbers on each chart.

Дополнительно можно настроить время удаления избранных ордеров:

--  По истечении времени торговли, если выбранный тип - это торговля внутри заданного диапазона  

--  Внутри диапазона, если выбранный тип - это торговля за пределами заданного диапазона 

При этом советник может удалять не только свои ордера. Настройки позволяют выбрать практически любой их тип и принадлежность. Данный функционал можно дополнительно применять не только при ручной торговле, но и при торговле с другими советниками.

I bought elastic grid for MT4 but I can't use the trailing stop functions.

I would need the stop profit to be activated for each order in the grid after reaching a profit in pips or in currency for each single order in the grid.

Is this possible ?

Trailing stop is the movement of the stop loss line. And the stop loss for each individual order in the grid is set in the EA settings.

Accordingly, if you set a trailing stop for a selected order, it will be constantly reset, because the adviser tightly controls its settings. In fact, all settings are checked at each timeframe change and for some other situations.

ps. If you can offer an intuitive concept of settings so that you can set the stop loss in the grid settings and the trailing stop for each individual order at the same time, I will try to implement it.

The standard tester doesn't provide such a possibility... unfortunately. Manually entered Expert Advisor settings cannot be changed during the test. Perhaps there are some separate developments that complement the functionality of the tester by default, but I am not aware of such.
