В основе индикатора EasyBands лежит тот же принцип, что и при построении Bollinger Band. Однако, данная модификация индикатора использует вместо стандартного отклонения средний торговый диапазон (Average True Range).
Соответственно, с данным индикатором абсолютно аналогично можно использовать все стратегии, которые применяются с Bollinger Band.
В данной версии индикатора используется двенадцать уровней и средняя линия (белый цвет). Индикация тренда выполнена в виде окраски свечей в зависимости от их расположения относительно средней линии. Все свечи, цена закрытия которых выше средней линии, окрашены в зелёный цвет. Свечи, цена закрытия которых ниже средней линии, окрашены в красный цвет. Свечи, направленные по тренду, имеют яркую светлую окраску. Свечи, направленные против тренда, выполнены в тёмных тонах. 
Индикатор имеет возможность подавать алерты, отправлять почтовые сообщения и push-сигналы при смене тренда, отображаемого на свечном графике.
Средняя линия индикатора - это мувинг с двумя усреднениями в исходном варианте. Все уровни и линия индикатора дополнительно усредняются ещё одним, третьим алгоритмом усреднения.
