I do like your point
Yes, thanks for providing the free EA, the last free EA that I downloaded from this site messed my terminal and I had a feeling that it hacked my terminal. I was thinking that it could be your EA because I downloaded yours and the other one on the same day and run both and then this happened, so I left negative feedback to your EA here but I decided later on to delete it because I felt it wasn't yours and that's why I deleted the negative feedback but had to place the dot because it wasn't allowing me to delete my feedback but figured it out how to update it with dot :)
So yeah, I am going to use your EA here to test out on Gold, can you post a decent set file for me to do so? thank you.
Cool
Thanks for the set file I will test with it on Sunday night.. by the way, when I test it last Friday on XAUUSD 1 HR chart, no trade opened but when I switched to 1 Min chart it traded 1 time and won with trailing stop, will update results next couple of days. I only trade Gold so that would be it.

1 trade.. sounds slow but could also work
was it tested in strategy tester or on a demo?
if in strategy tester what was the time range of the test?
for real time demo trade and its too slow and you want more trading action you could lower the look back of the Fibo
and also increase the amount of trades you allow

Yes, it is on demo account forward test, it trades slow but ok, the only thing I complain is that it holds losing trades for long causing bigger DD, it tries to trade between fib levels and if the level is broken by price and the price is against the trade direction it holds trade, I am going to change setting as you advised and will update soon, thanks.

That's my personal trading strategy in which I don't use stop loss and let the strategy playout (6 profitably years trading)
of course you can turn on the risk and close losing positions wherever you want, but I find that if you decided or the ea decided to open a buy position at a certain point you must had faith at the setup, when using small size positions the risk on the account is not that big it should be fine to let some position wait in loss
part of this dca strategy is to open positions when it falls and collect the gains when it goes back up
easier to be traded on more bullish instruments (GOLD ,SILVER,Crypto,US indices 30 100 500,stocks and so on)
but yeah you should be good either way
:)
