Update for the Omega Community: Technical Analysis, Transparency & Strategy Adjustment
Hello everyone,

I want to provide you with a completely honest and technically transparent update regarding last week trading session. Transparency is the absolute foundation of sustainable trading—especially when risk management protocols are triggered.

The Analysis: What exactly happened?

last week, a highly unusual combination of technical overlap and extreme market volatility impacted the Omega system:

Execution Blockage Due to Currency Correlation: Because multiple pairs sharing the same base currency (EUR/CAD and EUR/USD) were active in the system simultaneously, the execution of EUR/CAD blocked the initial entry of EUR/USD. By the time I manually removed EUR/CAD from the terminal, the EUR/USD algorithm triggered on a "second attempt" within the range. This was no longer a clean first-breakout entry, but a delayed execution.

Geopolitical News & Volatility: Right into this delayed exposure, unexpected geopolitical headlines (Trump news) hit the wires, triggering massive volatility that immediately pushed the market aggressively against our positions.

Manual Risk Intervention: I monitored and managed the charts closely until 2:00 AM, eventually deleting the final large order manually to give the equity maximum breathing room.

Breaching the Monthly Low: When the price ultimately broke through the prominent monthly low, it triggered massive institutional sell stops, accelerating the downward momentum.

The Consequence:
I stuck strictly to my ironclad rule: Capital preservation over hope. To protect the overall account from severe damage, I drew a hard line and closed all positions when the pre-defined risk limit of approximately -16% to -20% was hit. The account is now completely flat with no open positions or floating losses.

The Solution Moving Forward:
I am implementing an immediate, structural change to our algorithmic setup to ensure this specific bottleneck can never happen again:

Strict Asset Isolation: Moving forward, the system will trade only 1 pair per session.

Zero Currency Overlap: We will no longer run concurrent pairs that share the same currency, correlate with one another, or risk blocking execution orders within the MetaTrader terminal.

This adjustment guarantees maximum execution speed, clean entries, and 100% focus on a single asset at a time.

True professionalism is defined by how a trader handles losses, controls risk, and immediately optimizes the system. Thanks to our High-Watermark principle, the recovery phase is completely fair for you: no performance fees will be charged until this setback is fully recovered and a new all-time high is established.

The system is updated, the risk parameters are locked in, and we are ready to attack the markets with a clear and focused mind.

Important Info regarding Performance Fee (High-Watermark) 🛡️

Since a few people have asked, here is a quick clarification on how fairly the copy-trading is billed here:

The strict High-Watermark principle applies to all my setups.

This means a performance fee is only charged on net new profits. If we are currently in a drawdown, you won't pay a single cent in fees until your account has fully recovered and surpassed its previous peak (your all-time high).

In short: I only make money when you are in the green and we are breaking new highs. It doesn't get any fairer than that.
