Help formulating a strategy / understanding something from a thread

I found a thread online about a strategy involving hedging but need some more insight as I do not quite understand the concept fully. Need someone who is experience in forex to help me understand it and possibly formulate a strategy. 

Will pay substantial amounts of strategy seems sound.
