Tarea técnica
Project: EX2
Preamble
The objective of this project is to provide:
- an EA
- a Buy/Sell Indicator
- MACD coloured customised version
It must be possible to run this EA and indicator on any MT4 broker real account or demo.
The project will use the concept of two time frames, one fast one slow. For example, the one-hour time frame is an example of a slow time frame the fifteen minute is an example of a fast time frame.
It would be best if the EA offered me the ability to select the slow and fast time frame from the parameter section.
EA must be able to run on multiple currency pairs with differing slow/fast combinations on different pairs. For example, EUR/USD 1hour/15 min GBP/USD 4 hour/1 hour
Parameter settings
Fast timeframe: default fifteen minute
Slow Time frame default: one hour
MACD colours with default: bright red, dark red, bright green, dark green
CCI default: 100/-100
Requirements
MACD
There is a requirement for an enhanced MACD which colours the histogram as follow:
Histogram above the zero line and rising = BRIGHT GREEN
Histogram above the zero line and falling= DARK GREEN
Histogram below the zero line and Falling= BRIGHT RED
Histogram below the zero line and rising=DARK RED
The MACD and the buy/sell indicator must look back through the entire data set available from my broker and be applied to the full duration of available data not just a few weeks.
Buy Signal:
A buy alert is generated when the MACD histogram from the slow time frame is above the zero line and the MACD from the fast timeframe crosses the zero line.
Or
A Buy alert can also be generated when the slow histogram is below the zero line but = DARK RED (this means that it is rising) AND the fast MACD crosses the zero line.
On both the above alerts a final check must be passed which is price must be above 100 on the CCI for the actual signal to be generated.
A Buy signal detected by the indicator must be denoted by a GREEN arrow underneath the candle where the entry takes place
Sell Signal
A sell alert is generated when the MACD histogram from the slow time frame is below the zero line and the MACD from the fast timeframe crosses under the zero line.
Or
A Sell alert can also be generated when the slow histogram is above the zero line but = DARK GREEN (means that it is falling) AND the fast MACD crosses under the zero line.
On both the above alerts a final check must be passed which is price must be below -100 on the CCI for the actual signal to be generated.
A sell signal must be denoted by a RED arrow above the candle where the trade will take place.
Stops
The stops will always be trailing using an ATR with default setting of 3. It must be possible to vary this though
So the initial stop will be ATR x3 away from the entry price and as the market moves higher the stop will trail one pip at a time, until eventually stopped out.
Version Control
I insist on version control of the delivered code which means the first version must be noted in the name as EX2_V1.
If we need to do any fixes then these will be EX2_V1.1, EX2_V1.2 etc
Attribution
You can put your details as having developed the Indicator and EA but I need to see my name Paul Langham from EXACT TRADING as being the person for whom the code was developed.
Project Duration
The project will last two weeks in total. After the first week the coder will deliver the code for me to test and in the second week I will run a test. If bugs are found during the test period, then the code must be debugged and code repaired.
Project Delivery
The code will be delivered at the end of the first week
Project Testing
The coder will also deliver at the end of the first week the results of an MT4 back test for two currency pairs using tick data, not one-minute data.
I request this as I often have issues back testing on MT4
