Tarea técnica

I need an indicator that applies Fibonacci expansions on the time dimension (as opposed to price dimension).

The indicator should simply draw vertical lines for the calculated time levels on the chart, as visible in this scribble/screenshot (the green vertical lines at the end).


Configurations:

  • color of the lines
  • style of the lines
  • visibility of text labels (levels)
  • levels to calculate (with abilitity to save presets for future use)
  • calculation method

Calculation methods:

  • bar counting, i.e. if there are 100 bars in the selected range the 23.6 expansion would be 24 bars after the last bar of the selected range
  • time based using bar closing time, i.e. calculate the time between the first and last bar in the selected range. For longer term charts this should include weekends, so a simply calendar calculation.


Usage:

Ideally the indicator auto-attaches to an already existing Fibonacci retracement indicator on the chart (MT5 build in Fibonacci retracement indicator), so marking the points in question only needs to be done once.

If that is not possible it should have a simply way of drawing/selecting the range with as little mouse clicks as possible.

  • should compile without errors in the latest MT5
