1. Indicator Description (Pine Script Version)

  • The Pine Script indicator performs the following:

    • Colors the candles green when the trend is up.

    • Colors the candles red when the trend is down.

    • Colors the candles gray when the trend is neutral.

  • Trend direction is determined based on the indicator’s internal calculations.

2. Conversion Requirement

  • Convert this Pine Script indicator to an MQL5 custom indicator ( .mq5 ).

  • The MQL5 version should:

    • Replicate the candle coloring logic: green (uptrend), red (downtrend), gray (neutral).

    • Be modular and efficient, making it easy to call or integrate within an Expert Advisor (EA).

      • For example, by providing an accessible buffer or function that returns the current trend state ( UP , DOWN , NEUTRAL ).
